We’ve been on the hunt for a cake/cookie lady since moving to MO three years ago and we finally found her!! I just had to tell her what we wanted and she did it! We aren’t a buttercream family but hers wasn’t too sweet or thick. The cake was moist and delicious. Our sweet girl loved her cake!

Brenda is an amazing cook and baker! Her food is to die for, I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from there(I recommend the chicken salad) and her sweet treats are the best! I eat lunch here once a week and it is extremely rare to find someone that runs as tight of a ship as Brenda. Her lunch options are really tasty, she is very nice and her desserts are top notch! I really appreciate what she is doing. We need more people like her in this world. Give Specialty Sweets a try and you won’t be disappointed. Today I tried her lunch special of beans and ham with cornbread. Talk about comfort food! The Reuben sandwich is always excellent.

The food is amazing. Her chicken salad on croissant is AMAZING! her cup cakes are the softest I have ever had. Her icing is to die for. It just melts in your mouth. This place is my favorite go to for lunch and treats.
