Spaziano’s is a little hole in the wall pizza and sandwich shop in downtown Haverhill. You want the best Italian style pizza in the Merrimack valley, go here. I grew up in the Revere Winthrop area where you could get the best Italian pizza on the planet. This place rivals that also they offer a sweet sauce for those that like the beach style pizza. However, they’re regular sauce is delish. If you want great pizza or great sandwiches and they also have Indian style food go there now too.

Although the service was friendly and order arrived very quickly we ordered a large and it was the size of what most pizza joints would call a small. Ordered a large thick crust half cheese half meatball with sweet sauce well done. Sauce wasn’t even a smidge sweet and tasted just bland. The meatballs were also bland…dare I say it was gross. They shouldn’t offer “sweet sauce” if it’s not sweet. I’m usually not that picky with my pizza and I never leave bad reviews ever because it makes me feel bad so that says a lot. I will say it was cooked decently well done though

I wish I didn’t eat the pizza so quick. I would have added a pic. I’m honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews because I had the best cheese pizza I’ve ever had from here. The sauce and cheese were perfectly spread. The perfect toast on the slices were crispy and held firmly. The hint of oregano at the end of each bite . Prices are very reasonable. I never write reviews on anything but this nice family deserves it.

I’m so tired of wasting my money here. Sometimes the food is OK, But about 75% of the time it INEDIBLE! Today I ordered a margarita pizza – pretty basic stuff.. and when i got it, the basil they used was ROTTEN. I’m a chef, i know what its supposed to look like, and this IS NOT IT.

I’ve gotten pizza from here plenty of times when wasted. I ordered from here tonight sober and got a medium pizza, sweet sauce with extra cheese, and double dough. It was like $27.00, which is beyond ridiculous. The sauce had no sweetness whatsoever. Literally, the only reason I ordered from here was for the sweet sauce. There was barely any sauce on it AT ALL. It is a regular pizza with cheese. I was beyond disappointed. I fed the remaining pizza to my chickens.

absolutely disappointed. i ordered a large pizza, an order of french fries, and a order of chicken fingers. the chicken was pink on the inside, the fries were wet and soggy, and the pizza was shaken so much the cheese was all over the place mostly on the top of the box. i called and spoke to the order visibly frustrated and asked for a refund of the 47 dollars i spent and the owner told me they don’t do refunds. i read their return policy POSTED on THEIR website that states that if you give them a call they will be happy to speak to you and give you a refund when deemed necessary. i called back and read the return policy to them in a frustrated tone and due to my “tone of voice” they refused to give me a refund and then hung up on me. i am so disappointed.

You definitely have to experience the spaziano sandwhich. It is definitely one of my favorite sandwiches downtown. Everything on the sandwich is so fresh and the chicken cutlet is so tender. I get crazy with it and add bacon, which is actually tasty. Definitely one of my go to places.
