Food – depending on the menu item; fries are always limp and greasy, everything seems to be cooked in the same oil and it picks up other tastes, shrimp sometimes overcooked, lasagna is usually pretty good with a huge portion, burgers are juicy with full condiments, diner salad is always a good bet but ask for additional dressing… service, it depends on the day and staff on duty, very irritating when ordering a side or drink and it’s forgotten or there’s no silverware on the table and have to ask.

Not all it was supposed to be. My perch at over $18 was 3 pieces of over breaded premade over cooked boredom. Though the tartar sauce was excellent. The lasagna that was certainly not the best in lake county as the sauce tasted like Ragu. But it was huge. The two who got the NY strip found it was cooked perfectly to their liking (not always an easy task). For nearly $100 with only 2 beers I can find better food for 4. Not impressed. Our server was great and was tipped accordingly.

I’m from out of town and saw they serve chicken tenders (( autistic mind you with a preference towards finger food. )) so I came in and I’d say overall it’s a small hole in the wall bar that offered acceptable food for the price. The coke was flat at first but they went in the back to correct it and the 2nd cup was drinkable, tenders were the star if I was a local I’d eat it over other national options like arbys. The fries were not acceptable. They tasted like pen station which I am not a fan of. The waiters were nice and quick to assist overall I spent about 30 mins inside. If your looking for a quiet place I’d explore elsewhere or come near the evening towards 9pm (( they close the kitchen down then. )) I did give a 4 star due to the waitress did take off the fries as I would not eat anymore then I needed to as they were not desired. For what I got would I come back in… sure for the tenders however if I was a local and knew of better spots with overall better fries (( need a whole meal to get a 5 from me. )) I’d attempt other spots. It’s worth a try your mileage may vary.

Had a bartender tell me not to vape in the bar (and before you start yelling about vaping in public) I’m exhaling zero smoke and she never even saw me doing it she saw it in my hand I think. She proceeded to try to berate me about the rules on a printed sign obviously haven’t noticed it …but I live very close I go here a lot because I don’t wanna risk driving after a few drinks. But I notice the only consistent problems I have here are with a manager named Kristen she pours weak small shots and has a poor working attitude
I also showed up here late after a show on Halloween and Kristen was staying there smoking a cigarette and blocked the door and said “just to let you know I’m closing at 11”… I get she’s probably been there awhile and wants to go home so I got one shot with my girlfriend and left but this is one of many poor experience with the bartender Kristen
