My wife and I spent our 22nd anniversary dinner here and I ordered the pollo limone with lemon caper white wine cream sauce and plainly put; it’s the best I’ve ever had, bar none. I wish I’d taken a picture of it, but once I had that first bite, I devoured it. It’s what I’d recommend to everyone.

Phenomenal. Romantic Italian restaurant by the sea with very good food and great service. We showed up 20 minutes before they closed. They sat us, took our order, were friendly and didn’t make us feel rushed. Also the food was amazing.

I celebrated my 70th birthday in October. I was looking for Cachio e Pepe (not pictured) and found it at Spasso. It was delicious. There was 6 of us. We all got something different. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful and delicious food. We got there just after opening at 4:30 pm. The beach setting was special. The staff was attentive but not hovering.
I don’t live in Ventura County any more. Was visiting family. Texas is my home state. Most at the table do live in Ventura County or nearby. They plan on many trips to Spasso. Thank you for a memorable birthday!

I ate dinner there last week with friends and we shared four dishes: eggplant parmigiana, Agnolatti àl pesto, Bucatini Al Americana, and Fettuccine Al Gabarra. All four of them were delicious! So good that I cannot even pick a favorite.

Delicious food. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce tasty. The Tiramisu was the best we have ever had, thanks to it all being made in house, including homemade ladyfingers. A must return place.
