This is a hidden gem! We were looking for somewhere to go on a date with a nice glass of wine, and this was one of several recommended. The atmosphere is perfect, cozy for couples or even groups too! The charcuterie board was delicious and the wine selection was amazing. We were so pleased with our waitress also. She was knowledgeable on all there was to offer there and treated us like we were so welcomed! We will come back many more times.

Elegant without being girlish. The Sparrow Wine Bar is a hidden gem in the West Knoxville / Farragut area. The decor brings to mind a stylish den with wonderful wood tones and artful decorations. If you are looking for a comfortable place to enjoy a glass of wine or other beverages with a friend or two, I highly recommend you check them out. They make the best use of being adjacent to a fine cheese and charcuterie shop by offer a fine selection of lovingly crafted boards, dips, and sandwiches. My wife and her friends love to come and socialize in the cozy confines, but I also found it to be an enjoyable experience.
If you want to get hammered and watch the game, this might not be your scene but if you want to enjoy a conversation with friends along with fine cheese and wines, please treat yourself to this experience.

I met a friend here for happy hour, and this place is absolutely incredible! They offer half-priced glasses of wine between 3 and 6 PM, so we decided to meet at 5. I arrived a bit earlier to browse through the cheese shop connected to the bar—you actually enter the wine bar through the cheese shop, which adds a fun, unique touch.
The space is perfect for a variety of occasions: a girls’ night out, a relaxing solo evening, or even a cozy date night. You can curl up on a couch with a book and a glass of wine, sit at the bar, or gather around a table with friends. I absolutely love the ambiance, with its dimmed lighting and tasteful decor—it feels warm, inviting, and chic.
I’ve visited twice, both times on weekdays, and I had no trouble finding a seat. I’m not sure if it fills up on weekends or if they take reservations, but it’s worth checking if you’re planning to visit during busier times.
The wine selection is fantastic, and I love that you can enjoy a glass of bubbles (like Crémant or Prosecco) at half price during happy hour. On this visit, I tried the baked brie, which was delicious and perfect for sharing with a friend—it was plenty of food for two. We also shared the Featured Board (size large) with a group of four, and it was the ideal appetizer before dinner.
I love the seamless connection to the cheese shop next door. You can grab a glass of wine and sample cheeses, which makes for a perfect combination.

My husband and I had a “date” night at Sparrow and it was perfect. We ordered drinks and a cheese board. The cheeses were thoughtfully chosen and everything was fantastic. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and quick. I can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful! Atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Not presumptuous at all. I’m a wine novice and felt absolutely comfortable here. The server is knowledgeable and friendly. The have happy hour and wine Wednesdays too. We got the sweet and spicy charcuterie and the Sangria. We added the jam and a baguette. Plenty enough for 2 hungry adults.

It’s been absolutely ages since me and my husband had a date night…So happy we chose this wine bar! We loved the vibe and the friendly staff of this place!
Loved the red wine and the white one, also their cheese is amazingly delicious, my next stop will be the cheese shop next door .
Overall we love Sparrow Wine Bar, I think it’s a great date spot, double date spot or just a spot to sit and relax and enjoy time with friends and family. Could not recommend more highly!

Best wine bar in town. I love that they have wine flights so you can taste a variety and compare. Superior charcuterie boards. The baguette with Brie is divine. Atmosphere is 10/10. Truly an interactive dining experience.
