I stopped in yo get takeout “DIY cannolis” on a trip to OK recently. These were very cleverly done. The filling was delicious & the topping selection was divine. I think the Cannoli “shells”were deep fried egg roll wrappers but they were really good once filled w/ you toppings. They were reasonably priced due to the quality of the filling & toppings & the fun of making whatever you want.

The Hype is Real – Everyone’s Ordering It!
I’m not even exaggerating when I say that literally every table around us ordered the bruschetta at Sparrow Modern Italian. And after one bite, I completely understood why.
That Bruschetta Though…
Hands down the best bruschetta I’ve ever had. The bread had the perfect char and crispiness, the tomatoes were bursting with flavor, and whatever they’re doing with their seasoning blend is pure magic. I watched table after table get theirs delivered and every single person had the same reaction – pure joy.

We found this restaurant online & went because the reviews & menu were appealing. Mary was our waitress & was so welcoming, personable & informative. Everything from the wine list to the dessert was impressive! We had a glass of Valpolicello, a jalapeño Paloma, shared the meatball appetizer, a caprese salad & their lasagna & their special with short ribs, mushrooms & sweet potato crisps then a DIY cannoli & some fried pastries! Everything was divine! The house manager checked on us several times to make sure we were satisfied & had everything we needed. The ladies room was spotless too! If we are ever back this way again, we are coming here to have dinner!

We ordered the lasagna and the lemon fettuccine fettuccine alfredo. These dishes were executed with precision. We enjoyed the woven French techniques in the dishes. The sauces were clearly built with intention, reminiscent of a French gastronomy. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu and it was delectable!! Truly one of the best restaurants we have experienced.

UPDATE. Visited in February and had a less than favorable experience. Evan followed up and invited us back. Second visit in May was everything anyone could ask for in an Italian dinner experience – excellent service, quality food, and we enjoyed both wine and cocktails. Look forward to including Sparrow in our future dining plans. Can’t miss with any of their pizzas or pastas.

Well, another amazing stop in Edmond while in town from Alabama.
The place has amazing service and the food was top notch. They are know for the lasagna and now I know why. I am so happy I decided to give it a try while in town.
The garlic knots and Cesar salad was over the top. I got the lasagna with meat sauce on the side so I could enjoy the flavors as separate and enjoy the backed cheese as well.
If you have not tried this place yet, get there and make it happen soon! Locally owned and a staple on my list next time in town.

I’ve liked coming here and really enjoy the food. The 100 layer lasagna is good (even when I had it 2 days later reheated it was still top notch), the Lobster + Shrimp Scampi is so delicious, and I throughly enjoyed the House Tiramisu. You can make a reservation online (which I really appreciate), no need to dress fancy (jeans/casual is just fine), and I really appreciate how the restaurant is not wasteful either.

Incredible restaurant, service, and food. I have a ton of food allergies and the servers were kind enough to have the chef come out. The chef was accommodating and also helped me develop something “off menu” that not only met my gluten free, dairy free, tomato free needs at an Italian restaurant, but also made sure it was delicious! Thank you for your attention and service on Christmas Eve, it was so refreshing and would 10/10 recommend

Overpriced, mediocre Italian food. If you like big white plates with small portions and paying for “atmosphere,” it’s perfect. We went because someone kindly gave us a gift card and told us it was their favorite restaurant. The gift card, though for $50, paid only half our meal, and we split our main dish and ordered appetizer and dessert. Ouch.
Food wise, maybe our expectations were too high? I don’t see what all the fuss is about. We’d rather go to Vito’s or Moni’s if it was still around. Way better food and wouldn’t cost a gift card arm and our own leg.
