I don’t have a whole lot to say about my visit to Sparky’s, but it was pretty good! The thing that still stands out to me the most was the crazy view at the restaurant. There were wide windows all along where you could look out and see the snow capped mountains way in the distance. It was stunning, and quite the way to take a meal.

Food was good. Two people had bacon Cheeseburgers and they were good. The Mac-n-cheese was good. The smokehouse philly had brisket and while the brisket was tasty, the plate of food was NOT worth $20. Service was excellent. The 34oz draft beers are the best value.

This was a good spot to get some to go food from. We had a salad, soup, and sandwich. All three were tasty. The pulled pork was really good on the salad and sandwich. All in all it was a positive experience.

Sparkys is sensational. A really fun atmosphere for dining. Top notch, friendly service. The fried pickle spears are the best fried pickles I’ve had. I prefer ribs with a bit of tug to them, but Sparkys ribs are still very good at fall off the bone. The homemade corn bread has magnificent texture. Baked beans and coleslaw are world class. Loved the experience overall.

Looked up this place and my own translation of what they have is: fried foods and booze. Perfect for a road trip when you already have a designated driver. We visited on a Tuesday evening and were shown to a booth with a nice window view. I ordered a lavender martini that was actually good and not too sweet. We also tried some specialty beer that was good. Dinner was fried pickles, ooh fun! And chicken fried steak. The meat was less than the breading by quite a lot, but we didn’t care much since the breading was good. We tried the avocado and tomato chicken burger and found the avocado and tomato to be splendid, but the chicken so tough and dry it didn’t warrant any sympathy. Ah well. Service was brusque but professional. Would we pop by again? Sure. It was pretty good, just not five star fabulous.

I got the Mac n cheese with spicy buffalo strips. Not impressed with the portion size of the chicken strips… I was told this was 2 chicken strips. Server was visibly annoyed with our large group. The automatic gratuity detracted from the service experience.
