We had a really enjoyable meal at Sparkill Steakhouse. I ordered the T‑bone, linguine with clams, seared tuna, lobster bisque, and mushroom caps.

Service was very good and attentive throughout the night.
The T‑bone steak was delicious—slightly undercooked for a medium‑rare order, but still very flavorful and tender.
The lobster bisque was delicious, though there was no lobster meat in the soup and no crackers provided, which felt a bit odd.
The tuna was cooked perfectly, the mushroom caps were great, and the clams were tasty—though a bowl for the empty shells would’ve been helpful.

For a birthday dessert, we had the apple strudel, which was amazing. The staff even sang Happy Birthday, which made the night feel extra special.

Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back. Highly recommend

Overall very good, just not great. The crab appetizer was delicious but our porterhouse was not the best. I shoukd havevknown when it came to the tablecand was not sizzling. I also feel like it was just not hot enough, overall flavorful but Ive had better. The service was not what I expect at a high priced steakhouse. Spending $350 a couple the least the server coukd do is serve the meal. Anyway Id go back if we’re asked by friends but Ill stick to other places

We were a party of three last Sunday night and stopped in for cocktails, appetizers… and desserts! We ordered the shrimp fra diavolo and crab cakes—both were generous in portion and absolutely delicious. Dennis, our incredible bartender, made dirty martinis that were clearly crafted with love and strength. The wine list was impressive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our bottle of Benton Lane Pinot.
We ended the night with a perfectly executed crème brûlée, complete with a crisp, caramelized top, and brought home the apple strudel. The owner, Carlo, truly made us feel like family. Thank you for a wonderful evening—we can’t wait to return and enjoy a full meal next time!

Wow, I have eaten at a lot of steak houses and this one might take the cake. Their signature classic porterhouse had such a good sear on the outside, a medium rare on the inside, I almost couldn’t believe my eyes. Kudos to the chef! Would love to learn how they do this. Place is expensive, goes without saying, but in my opinion, well worth it. Will definitely come back

Was there with a large group for a birthday dinner. Everyone’s steak came out overly done. Outside crust was black / burned. Mashed potatoes tasted like watery instant potatoes. Broccoli wasn’t cooked all the way. The creamed spinach was good. Pork belly was super salty.

Bar service was okay. Nothing bad. Nothing great. But like mid at best.

Atmosphere was nice but seemed a bit outdated. Very clean though.

Not sure I would visit again.

Valentine disaster…me and my boyfriend tried being understanding that it was a busy night given the holiday. However waiting 2 hours for our food was a bit much. While we were enjoying our appetizer we had a little friend try to join…a cockroach and we got the waiter over for help. It kept jumping until the third try he was able to catch it in his napkin.
We were given a complimentary glass of wine.

We were thankful but given the experience, the wait, not being notified how much longer the food was going to take, this was our first and last time going there for a date night. The food tasted great, thank goodness. Given everything else that occurred it was not worth the price nor our time.

Food was fantastic but we spent $400 on the porterhouse for 2 on Valentine’s Day and we had our left overs boxed up, we had about 7 slices of steak left. When we got home, there was only 3 pieces of steak in the box, where did the rest go? Very upsetting, especially after leaving a large tip.

Good place for a steak! The food was delicious and they accommodated my request for no butter on the porterhouse.

I recommend getting a reservation on Friday and Saturday nights since the dining room was quite busy. It took a bit longer for our food to arrive.

The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable.

Photos: We ordered more food but I forgot to take pictures because I was hungry. We already ate part of the steak.

Edit: came back on a Monday night, service was great, the Porterhouse was even more delicious!
