Sparkies is the ideal place to relax and enjoy awesome food in a causal, upbeat atmosphere. We are the place to be if you are looking to grab a quick bite, a Burger and Beer while watching the Big Game on one of our 7 Plasma TV’s, or celebrate a Special Event with Family and Friends. Our large, diverse menu can best be described as foods you know with a twist. We are known for our comfort food. In fact, we take American cuisine and put our own twist on it. We also have a gluten friendly menu and understand that allergies are a huge issue for some and try to accommodate all dietary restrictions to the best of our ability.

Stopped here with my boyfriend on the way home and it was super cute. Staff was friendly and the little signs they have made me giggle. Make sure to read the bathroom one ladies.
Overall the prices seem fair. The food was good and fast. I wish I had enough room for desserts but maybe next time.

Had a good experience here. The menu had a good variety.
My friend and I ordered a harvest salad and the Joey burger. Both were really good. Burger was cooked exactly how we like it. I do with the bacon on the burger was cooked a bit more, and I really liked the bun. Seasoned fries came with the burger and were good, just wish they had been fried a bit more.
The salad was fresh and exactly what you’d expect from the description, the chicken was a bit dry.
Out waitress was friendly and helpful. She knew my friend and I were sharing both items and brought us our food already split on to two different plates. It was a really nice touch.

Went for lunch on 11/10/2025
No heat in restaurant. Two different female waitresses said a repair person had come in that morning and fixed the heat. They said it was warming up in the restaurant. This was not true. Ate lunch with my elderly mom. Waitress was great. I ordered a club salad. It was lousy. Lettuce was old and discolored. It came with very small bacon bits that were not real. If I ordered a club sandwich, I would expect bacon slices on it. I asked the waitress to fix this and she did. I spoke to manager afterward and he said they did not get the product they ordered for the bacon and had made a substitution, but he did not know what was being served. I complained about the heat and he looked out window and said, oh I just see a truck going by, I think that is the person coming to fix it. Wow, his staff said it had been fixed. It was way too cold in there. A sign on front door that says no heat would have helped. He did nothing to try to make our experience better. I will not return. He, Chris, had a choice and did not do anything to keep a returning customer. Sign when you enter says Come in, we are awesome. Do better Sparkies.

The bread on the corn beef sandwich was cold. The corn beef was deli sliced like it was from Kroger. It also said it came with seasoned fries. Absolutely no seasoning, and they were barely room temperature. For $18 I expected better.

Absolutely phenomenal service. The staff was great. Made recommendations that did not disappoint. To start, the wings were perfectly crispy and juicy. The brussel sprouts were the best I have had anywhere. A definite must-have when you are here. My wife had a tuna salad sandwich with a gluten-free bun. This was the test. The bun was great. It tasted good and did not fall apart as soon as you touched it like so many do. My son and I both had burgers. Cook perfectly. Fries were crispy. Almost everything on the menu had a gluten-free option. I highly recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed.

Me and my wife have been going here for years and are wondering what happened. The steaks are rubbery like low quality meats. the zip sauce was so bad we has to get a1 which is a crime for steak. the Brussel sprouts were drowning in whatever and not crispy. we used to love this place is it the only better dining in white lake but we’ve nothing said its gone down hill. stick to the basics buys.

Update – I’ve been here several times and usually it is really good. This time the food was still right on point but the service was horrible. No one greeted me when walking in the door. I walked up to the host stand and the young girl in her black dress didn’t even care to acknowledge us when standing right in front of her. She took us to our table and barely spoke one word to us. The waitress was trying hard, she was rushing and seemed very frazzled. Even though the waitress was attentive it didn’t make the experience great.
If you don’t want to wait for a table you’ll have to go early or else expect a 30-60 min wait. The service and food were both equally great. The presentation of the food is very professional. The atmosphere is modern and upscale. The name may be miss leading, to me Sparkies seems like a run down hole in the wall, but don’t miss this hidden gem. It also is tucked away in a strip mall, so don’t drive by without a stop inside.

I ordered a bowl of the 3 onion soup. When it arrived it was a little less than half full, about an inch of soup. The bowls aren’t very big to begin with so I got about 5 spoon fulls for $6. The pot roast was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend that. The staff was also attentive.

Fantastic experience! This was our second time here. Everything was exceptional. Great tap and cocktail list. The spicy shrimp tacos were delicious! My husbands burger was great and cooked perfectly. His parm fries were mouth watering. My daughters Alfredo was so good that I couldn’t stop stealing bites. Kids meals are the best I’ve found for the price with large portion of pasta, drink, side, and ice cream cup for dessert. Our waitress Tiffany was wonderful! Super friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Sparkies! Will be back soon.

I recently visited Sparkies! and had a delightful experience. The cozy, inviting atmosphere immediately made me feel at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, enhancing the overall experience.
We ordered the nachos and an Oreo cheesecake, and both were outstanding. The nachos were generously topped with gooey cheese and sour cream. While they typically come with jalapeños, I don’t recall them on these.… but the nachos were delicious without them.
For dessert, the Oreo cheesecake was the star of the meal. It was creamy, smooth, and had chunks of Oreos throughout, with a delightful Oreo crust. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and a great way to end our meal.
Overall, our visit to Sparkies! was wonderful. The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend Sparkies! if you’re looking for a great place to enjoy delicious nachos and a fantastic Oreo cheesecake.
