Stumbled across Sparkie’s while driving by one day and absolutely loved the food and experience. The food and coffee was absolutely delicious, but the best part was the phenomenal service which was so refreshing and much appreciated. It’s so cute inside and we can’t wait to visit again.

My wife and I made a stop here while passing through Dormont, PA and it was a great little breakfast find. The place has a warm, rustic vibe, and our waitress was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Sparkie’s Omelette—which comes with kielbasa, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut—and while it may sound like an odd combo, it was on point. Paired with home fries and wheat toast, everything hit the spot. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and good service…..can’t ask for more from a diner breakfast.

Heard great things about Sparkies. All true! Great little local breakfast spot… Enjoyed myself here today. Eggs cooked perfectly. Was surprised they have a full liquor license – You could definitely have a bloody Mary or Baileys in your coffee, or honestly whatever else you want. Service was excellent. I love the vibe, the place was decorated. Super cute… Outdoor patio was a nice touch as well.

Food was good, I got a breakfast burrito it had peppers onions bacon sausage cheese and potatoes in it and came with a side of sour cream and salsa. It was good but soooo greasy. It dripped grease everywhere. I got a chai latte to drink it was very delicious. Our server was alright, she seemed bothered that we were there but warmed up after a while. The place was clean and the menu had a large variety of options. They had a lot of coffee flavors to choose from.

Great location! Our server was so sweet and friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for families. We visited over St. Patrick’s Day weekend and loved the festive touch of green eggs! The biscuits and gravy were absolutely delicious—our 18-month-old couldn’t get enough, especially the sausage links. It’s a great new addition to Dormont, and we’ll definitely be back! The fact that they serve cocktails is a bonus, and we can’t wait to check out the porch once the weather warms up!

I havent been to this location since way back when it was Tom’s Diner, but wow, I’ve been missing a great breakfast spot!
The interior is very rustic but clean, with really cool wooden chairs and tables.
Service was awesome. Our server came exactly the right amount of times, offered us sides/fixins, and made sure our food was delicious (indeed it was).
I tried the Sparkie’s (kielbasa and sauerkraut) omelette because it sounded unique and it did not disappoint. The eggs were nice and fluffy and it was a great combination with the thousand island dressing drizzled on top. Hash browns were crunchy on top, soft underneath, and the toast was an excellent large size bread.
Highly recommend you check this place out!
They have cocktails too, although I did not partake since I was there for a lunch meeting. I’ll have to come back for one of those!

The food and service were excellent. The staff was amazing from the greet at the door and the server.
The coffee was also very good. Reasonably priced for the food.
My only complaint is that it was freezing in the restaurant due to the door opening and closing.

Breakfast was fantastic. We ordered a western omelet and pancakes. The omelet was perfectly made with tobs of veggie and meat. Pancakes were possibly the best I’ve had in forever. It’s a little loud (one of us has cochlear implants) but that’s more of a personal thing than something bad. Highly recommend!!

What a beautiful place to come to. Fantastic service, very nice food and nice atmosphere. On the smaller end when it comes to the inside but this is a Gem of a place. Definitely come and get breakfast here. They do have wine, beer and mimosas!!!
