Food was very good congrats. Waiter was very confused while taking orders . No atmosphere in side . We were seated at picnic benches No background music . Reminded me of a Tavern.
Service is average. Long wait after requested anything. Although we were told the prawns was fresh it tased anything but. Food was served cold. Does not serve cocktails and have a minimum choice of wines
Spargo’s you need to up your game and service as once can be excused but 4 times after each other is unacceptable.
First time I went for a sit down meal, I had to wait an hour and 30 minutes for the food to arrive, second time I placed an order for collection and when I arrived my order was never prepared nor did the lady that took the order noted it down. The 3rd time I wanted to place a order for collection and I was told sorry we can’t take your order as we taking stock, this was a Friday evening just before 6, really! Taking stock within peak hours? Now again I phone to place an order for collection and I get told sorry we are at full capacity we are not taking any orders, wow really guys….poor poor service.
Yesterday, my cousin ordered ribs for herself, me, and my four-year-old nephew. By this morning, all three of us woke up with severe stomach cramps and diarrhoea. We were all perfectly fine before eating the meal, which is very concerning especially because a young child is involved.
This has been very uncomfortable and worrying for us, and food safety should be a top priority at any restaurant. No family should eat a meal and wake up sick the next day.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I have tried calling and emailing the restaurant to inform them about this issue, but I have received no response. A situation involving potential food-related illness should be taken seriously and handled urgently.
I hope Spargo’s addresses this matter properly, reviews their food handling and hygiene practices, and improves their customer service when concerns are raised.
