Friendly folks and simpler bar food. Cooked right behind the bar. Older establishment yet clean. The spare burger was bacon was so good I could have ate two. I only wish it came on a paper plate. The fries were also really good.

We ate here for the first time because the brewery across the street recommended their burgers. We thought they were very good and they were up against a lot of competition since we live in the cities and have great burger places there. They can definitely hold their own. Prices were reasonable and the lady behind the bar was very attentive and very nice. Sure will come again to enjoy a burger and beer another time when we feel like getting out of the city. Also very good onion rings.

Young lady behind the counter was amazing. Burger was really good. Bacon was from the butcher across the street. The customer service and friendly atmosphere was awesome. Love the small town feel.

Watched the bartender/server touch raw meat, pour a drink and then give the card reader out all without washing or sanitizing their hands.
Had to wipe off our drinks to remove raw meat bits…
I cannot state how bad this service was and how blatant they were for food safety violations.
This is definitely an eat/drink at your own risk establishment.

The burgers are very good, tonight I had three special, Sloppy Joe $6.00 and a cup of Chile. Both very good but the chili was sooo good I had to get another cup. Great small town feel. Great prices.

Very good burgers for a small town tavern. Fit our large group just fine. Only complaint every in our party had was that the burgers were all placed on a large tray and the waitress would bring the tray over and proceed to grab each burger and place in front of the patron, this would normally be fine, but her thumb would literally be placed down directly into the top bun of each burger. Just wasn’t as appealing to eat and the reason I had to bump to 4 stars.
