Just Get The Birria. 5 Stars. This will absolutely be a weekly spot. I had to stop eating to share this review and then had to put my phone down to take another bite. Amazing. Great, kind service and delicious hot, fresh, real food. Enjoy!

In Marietta for a business trip. I asked the guys at the plant where a good local place is to eat. Spanglish was recommended and I’m so glad I went. Right on the river, great outdoor seating and amazing food. I got the Birria tacos and a side of rice with the verde sauce.

My family and I love to grab a bite to eat here. The outdoor seating is nice especially is the summer, with a great view of the river. Easy park along the road or beside it along the river walkway. Very friendly staff, food always comes out fast and hot. We have gone several times and loved everything we have tried but our favorite is the Burrito California which is huge!! You get a very large portions no matter what you get. I remembered to take a couple pictures on this trip but will have to get more on our next visit! It’s always so good I forget to take any! Highly recommend making a stop!

THE BEST TACOS I HAVE EVER HAD!!!
I got them when I was passing through Ohio on a road trip and I still crave them. I’m a vegetarian and I got just a plain veggie tacos and they were incredible, I was spectacle at first but when I tried them I fell in love!!! Best place in downtown Marietta I %100 recommend going!!!

The carnitas tacos are amazing, seriously delicious! I stopped here on a road trip from South Carolina to Ohio and I’m so glad I did. The staff was so sweet, I sat at a table right by the water and had such a wonderful meal. We will definitely be back

Wife and I decided to stop at this location to have Dinner here for First time due to all the Great reviews.
Once to window to place order we was meet by a Female staff that was very very nice with a Terrific Smile and we gave our order to here, which was as follows:
•Traditional Birria – 3 Soft Grilled Tortillas
with Shredded Beef & Cheese topped with
Cilantro and Onions served with a cup of
Consomme.
•Pioneer Fries – with Ground Beef, served
with Pico De Gallo, Queso, Shredded
Cheese and Sour Cream with Secret Sauce
on side.
•Latin Egg Rolls – Trio, one Ground Beef and
one Shredded Chicken Birria and a Regular
Birria stuffed with Pico De Gallo and
Cheese.
The Female Staff that took our order asked was we parked at side circle by river? we stated yes, she said once it done i will bring to your vehicle for you all, Wow, now that is Great Service, most Appreciated.
She came to our vehicle with our order of food in hand with a Terrific Smile, cannot ask for any Better service than that.
OMG!!! The entire order was DELICIOUS, i mean it was so so Good we did not know where to actually start, we enjoyed setting by the river enjoying every single bight.
This restaurant is defiantly a Keeper for Marietta OH / MOV area, if you are ever passing thru this is a Must Stop for some Great Tasting Food.

We are Back, was out & about in MariettaOH early this morning, for lunch we headed over to Spanglish ordered “Loaded Nachos” with Hot & Sweet Sauce, the owner “Gloria” walked thru while order being placed she remembered the order from last time was there.
This Loaded Nacho was so so Delicious, it hit the spot for a Great Lunch, i hardly ever clean my plate all the way out at restaurants, but this Nachos was so Terrific it was very Delicious to last bight as you can tell by container is clean, all is gone.
Do not pass this Restaurant up when in MariettaOH, plus sets wright by River to enjoy a relaxing lunch.
Thanks to all of Spanglish for Great Lunch.

Its LUNCH TIME! can never go wrong by going to Spanglish… the Carnitas Tacos with the Mango Hot Sauce was Straight out Delicious! Wow!! Yummy…. Dont pass up this place.

I was born and raised in Southern California. LA county to be a bit more specific. In 2017, I moved to East Tennessee. My girlfriend is originally from Marietta. So naturally we visit her home. My first visit here in Marietta was very nice. It was for the sternwheel festival in 2024. We had an absolute blast. But one thing I like to do when I go somewhere new, is to try out the local food. And this was my pick. I have to tell you. I have been to a lot of Hispanic restaurants in the last 8 years everywhere from Texas, to Florida, even up to Chicago. All places claiming to have good authentic Mexican food. And each time I try their food, I always say “I can do way better” lol (I was brought up in a Hispanic family so I know how to cook) But then I came here. I absolutely fell in love with this place. I love the outdoor seating. I love the scenery. The emploees were so friendly. The menu is very wide with variety. And the food is absolutely amazing. Almost made me cry happy tears. It has been almost a decade since I have had good Mexican food that makes me feel like I’m right back home in California. This is the first place in almost 10 years that has left me speechless, full, and very happy. If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. Now whenever my girlfriend and I drive 5 hours from Tennessee to Marietta to see her family and friends, this is always a must go to place for me. Thanks for making my stomach full, happy, and satisfied!

This place is genuinely a hidden gem in Marietta. After hearing buddies from work talk about it I finally got to give it a try. Phenomenal food!! Phenomenal service!!! This is genuine food and absolutely delicious!! I’d fight someone for those egg rolls!
Prices are very fair and service time is minimal. Around 10 minutes to pick up my large order.
The guy behind the glass is a super nice dude and very outgoing!!

As a delivery driver, I pick up from many restaurants, but Spanglish is consistently the most frustrating. Today, 12/12/25 around 1:30pm, I stood at the window for 7 minutes waiting for help while I watched my customer’s order just sit there getting cold. When an employee finally appeared, he was completely dismissive. I politely suggested getting a bell so drivers don’t have to wait so long, and he just said ‘Cool, have a nice day’ and slammed the window shut. They are consistently rude to drivers and have zero respect for the customer’s time or food quality.”

When my daughter suggested eating here on our weekend trip, I was like “ugh. Not another run of the mill Mexican joint” and guess what? You knocked it out of the park!
She got Traditional Barria (which I had never had before but will forever now!!!) and I got the Latin Eggrolls (I just ate the third in my lunch today!!!)
Super flavorful. Staff was nice and explained menu items.
My ONLY complaint would be it would’ve been nice to wash it down with a margarita but the ice cold Jarritos was a nice substitute.
