We like to eat at golf courses, because they usually have nice views and good food. Stopped by here one afternoon for the first time, it is close to 528, but it feels quiet and away from the hustle and bustle! We only had a couple beers, but the service was very good and friendly. They have a large dining room(plenty of room if you have a crowd) and nice size bar, with tvs. They do also have a large outside deck overlooking the driving range.
Great happy hour beer prices. They have daily food specials, but unfortunately no burger night! Maybe they will have one eventually. We will come back on an afternoon when the weather is nice, and sit outside.

I booked a private event for my birthday. The staff were accommodating and pleasant to everyone. I can’t say enough about the bartenders and chef Kaydee. Every bit of the charcuterie was delish and well thought out. The event space was more then enough room for 50 ppl and we were welcomed to decorate and move things around as we needed. I would recommend Carters Grille for your event.

Food was enjoyable and flavorful. Liked the chicken and blue cheese creation. Onion soup was delicious but I don’t think it will be available daily.
We went for lunch and the atmosphere was cold and too quiet. No background music.
We were the only ones in Restaurant.
Should definitely be supported as the food is enjoyable.

Currently there is a $7 Xmas drink special list that is unique and enjoyable.

Restaurant is located inside the golf course’s clubhouse. Open to the public. Food was fresh and delicious. Great lunch spot, everything from wings to salads, sandwiches and burgers. Fresh made potato chips are fantastic! Prices are reasonable with is a definite plus and there is full bar service.

At a 4.9 rating as of August 10, 2024, I thought this place was going to have a Master Chef with delectable bits.
Sadly, that’s not the case.
This place has a smaller kitchen and the purpose is to feed hungry golfers (when I went…mostly men were at the restaurant… which is fine).
When looking at Google Maps and sorting by “Top Rated”, this place compares with other 4.4s or 4.3s in the area.
*Update* the restaurant reached out to me and asked why I rated 3 stars.
My initial gut reaction was to rate lower so the aggregate score would be lowered. And it worked. The score went from 4.9 to 4.8.
I realize businesses literally are fighting tooth and nail for every decimal point on Google… so I’ve updated my star rating to 4 as a kindness and to accurately reflect my review. First time I’ve ever updated a review….

My wife and I live in the Savannahs neighborhood. I share this review with no bias to just be supportive of our clubhouse and restaurant. Carters Grille goes above and beyond on a daily basis to provide timely quality dishes and weekly specials. By this point, we’ve had everything on the menu and you cannot go wrong. The wings, burger, wraps, sandwiches, salads, etc. are consistently delicious. Several sauces and items are homemade which provides uniqueness you can’t get anywhere else. Whether you are coming to golf or just want to bring the family to a restaurant on north Merritt Island, I can assure with confidence that you cannot go wrong with choosing Carters Grille.
