The restaurant that had no space! I can’t say what the inside is like. We stayed at the attached motel and we couldn’t get in an hour before the claimed closing, with ‘Open’ lights blazing and people eating inside. They would not answer a call from the motel desk, so they’re a big zero to me. The motel desk sent us down the street to the Thrifty ice cream store–which was great and cheaper!

Group of 10, that’s why the review isn’t lower. Took over an hour to get our food. The servers didn’t know what drinks they were out of and we ended up getting Pepsi with low syrup making all of them taste strange. When we tried getting replacements the server didn’t know they were out of dr pepper and starry as well until they came back to tell us. The water also tasted weird (probably unfiltered tap), the only drink that didn’t taste off was the tea. Once we got our food, they forgot bacon and only put 1 pickle slice on one of the burgers, the chicken in the chicken sandwich was as hard as concrete, and one of the salads had a raw egg instead of a boiled egg. Overall experience was negative, also $5 for a for fountain soda is way too high.

Wait staff was polite. Food is very disappointing. Bland, flavorless Walmart “angus” burger patties. Fries were undercooked. Onion rings were overcooked. And who puts an entire slice of undercooked onion on a melt? And there was some guy layed down sleeping in the corner booth.

We’ve driven by this place for years on our drives between Phoenix and San Diego or Rocky Point. We finally decided to stop in for breakfast. We looked up their menu before we arrived looking forward to some of the nice breakfast items. Problem is, we got there at 11:15 am and they didn’t serve breakfast after 11 am. Odd that they cut off breakfast at all, considering they close at 1:30 pm. Why not just serve breakfast all day since you’re closed so early? We ended up getting a Jupiter burger (very good), and an open-faced chili cheese burger which was cold. We told the waitress, who offered to microwave it…didn’t know you could do that, but better than a cold burger. Service certainly wasn’t friendly or outstanding, just disappointing. Prices were not great and a sodas were $5.50. So, we checked the box and won’t be going there again.

We love coming to this restaurant for the fun atmosphere and good food. We recently got back from visiting Roswell, New Mexico and this restaurant is exactly what Roswell is missing as far as tourist restaurants go for their alien tourism as Roswell offers nothing like this unless you count McDonald’s and I don’t.
The food is perfectly cooked, tastes homemade, served hot and fresh.
I ordered the chicken plate and my man got the chicken fried steak meal. I got the soup of the day which was beef barely and he got a salad. My drink was the house margarita . All the food was delicious. We both enjoyed our visit even with only 1 server working. The restaurant wasn’t too busy. The bill was u see $50 and included drinks. It offers a small selection of souvenirs ranging from coffee mugs, alien glass like those sold in Roswell, and a few postcards.

I expected so much more from the cleanest place in Gila Bend, Az. No joke, this place is absolutely clean. The bathrooms were clean and cold. But here’s where the disappointment kicks in. The food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the patty melt with 1/2 fries and 1/2 onion rings for the sides. I think what the cook did was take leftover fries and onion rings from a previous orders, then re dunked them in the oil to heat them. The onion rings were hard to eat, as well as the French fries. They were stale and chewy.
Lets talk about the sandwich the sandwich was rough. The bread was over toasted over cooked and it was the worst. My buddy and I ordered drinks. He ordered and iced tea and i ordered an Arnold Palmer. Not once did the guy come back around to offer us a refill, not even a water. Hell, my buddy had to get napkins because the guy didn’t give us any. He barely tended to us. He was too busy on his phone in another location or the restaurant. After a 5 hour ride, we were starving and thirsty.
But dont take my word for it. Or maybe you should take my word for it! I’ll save your money. This was a crappy experience.

We were with a group of about twenty people. We called a couple of hours ahead to make sure the restaurant would be able to accommodate us. We arrived, were able to get seated. We were assigned one waitress for our entire group. So, drinks alone took about thirty minutes. I ordered a shake but was told they didn’t have shakes. It is on the menu but oh well. We finally get to order. I order a strawberry waffle. But they don’t have waffles either. So I order a grilled cheese with onion rings and the veggies on the side of the sandwich. The onion rings were good, veggies were good too. The grilled cheese sandwich was pathetic. It looked like the bread was thrown in a toaster and then a piece of cheese was thrown in between. The cheese wasn’t melted at all. I didn’t even take one bite of the sandwich. The waitress didn’t take notice as she was quite overwhelmed. Anyway, we will not be going back to this place. Management failed badly as they had been given prior notice of our arrival.

Never have I been charged 5.00 for a cup of coffee and 5.50 for a cup of decaf in a little local restaurant. Plus to charge 6.99 to add sausage is little much when you are already paying between 12 to 17 dollars for your meal. We will not be stopping at your establishment again. I realize thing have gone up but feel as though you are taking advantage of tourists. We stop approximately 4 time in the winter. Never again! Server was great, food decent.
