This was my first time trying this restaurant out. Whenever I see a new place I go try that. I took the burger with chicken thigh. I wish they had some sauce or something on the bun. It’s bascically fried chicken piece on a bun with a leaf of lettuce. It was so dry. May be the authentic Japanese cuisine dish is that dry I dont know.
The main problem is not the taste. The chicken that came out of the fryer was undercooked. It was PINK (look at my pictures)
I would like to give them another chance and if I like it I will definitely update my review and rating.

Very clean place and friendly staff. The karaage and wings are good and juicy, though wish it had a little more flavor. Not a lot of stuff on their menu, I feel like bento boxes and would sell well and would allow for a variety in a meal. (After thought, they have the custom meal but it is in-store only) Hope this place strives!

Really tasty, authentic Japanese fried chicken and rice dishes. I have been dreaming of a good Katsu curry to rival what I’ve had in places like LA. Sozai has done it. I had the bento box and fried chicken curry bread. Will be eating here regularly!

I came here for lunch and got a bento box. The quantity of the food was large and service was quick. The spicy gravy was amazing, I wish I had some more of it.

Amazing service, and the food was made fresh right in front of me. We went with the Karaage, green salad and some rice. Washed down with some Ramune soda.

This is my second time visiting this location. They were out of the first item I ordered, so I opted for the curry rice with fried chicken breast.
The rice and curry were good. The chicken needed a bit more seasoning. Something was missing.
Will certainly try other items on the menu. Would recommend trying them out.

This place is great! The food is always fresh every time I’ve gone, and it’s always felt like eating a homemade meal. The service is wonderful, the owner is extremely friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have. This is one of the best Chicken places around, so don’t hesitate to try it if you haven’t yet!

Ordered the katsu sandwich. It was a dry sandwich with no sauce. Just a completely dry sandwich with lettuce and chicken lol. I went back in to ask the lady if the sauce came on the side and she said she put it on it but there was clearly no sauce on the sandwich. The portion was kind of pathetic as well. Way too much bread with too little meat. That’s probably what I deserve for ordering a sandwich at a Japanese place
