Soya Salt is a great find, it’s rare to find Kosher Korean food. The atmosphere was really nice and the food was high quality. Prices are on the higher side, but the portion sizes were solid, and the kids menu was perfect for our toddlers.

One thing I didn’t love was how water is offered as “still or sparkling,” with still water starting at $11 a bottle and not listed on the menu. Unfortunately this is something other restaurants do as well, so from experience I knew to ask about it and opt for tap water even though it wasn’t offered as an option. That said, the service itself was actually great, friendly and attentive.

Our favorite dish was the crispy beef over fried rice absolutely delicious and something I’d come back for.

Overall a great spot, just be aware of the bottled water upsell.

Best kosher Asian restaurant! Loved the vibe and food. Service was exceptionally great. Craved their complimentary chips! Sushi was perfection. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chilled vibe. If you’re considering this place over their nearby restaurant, Salt, this would be my choice.

Had the chance to dine here just before the grand opening and was seriously impressed! The space is warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. The managers checked in with us often, making sure everything was perfect—such a thoughtful touch.

The food was creative and mostly excellent. The miso eggplant was a standout—absolutely wild sauce, buttery and delicious. Tuna tartare was solid, but the Tuna Toro with truffle was next-level (though the soy sauce was a touch salty). The ramen was hearty and flavorful, with amazing noodles and the braided beef—easily the star of the meal. Crispy beef was also a highlight.

The bento box short rib didn’t quite hit the mark—probably should’ve gone with the katsu instead. Gyoza was a bit dry (would have loved if it was pan fried not steamed), but the overall experience more than made up for it.

Cocktails were on point—especially the Japanese Old Fashioned. And shoutout to our server, Bradley, who was outstanding. He caught an allergy issue before we did and pulled back dishes to make sure everything was safe. Truly top-tier service.

No Wagyu available – can’t wait to come back once the full menu is live!

I recently dined at this elegant Asian restaurant Soya for the second time. The first time I was here was in the summer of 25. I think they had just opened and to tell the truth the place was not the best but not the worst either.I enjoyed it. This time around, it was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance. Sick music, great lighting, very sharp décor, an unbelievable ocean view, and best of all the food is amazing. The attentive staff set the tone for an unforgettable experience, especially Chef Michael, who personally followed up with us wonderfully.

The menu is different from our last experience. Every dish is beautifully presented—almost too stunning to eat—and the flavors are deep, balanced, and memorable. The Duck Confit is magical. Not gamey but really delicious, and super fresh, the Steak with Sesame cauliflower puree, garlic confit, roasted charred scallion soy reduction, braised daikon was delicate and offered a perfect harmony of texture and spice. Perfectly prepared. I loved it. Even the cocktails were creativity and delicious.

Service was impeccable throughout the evening. Staff were knowledgeable, gracious, and genuine. It was a wonderful experience. Despite the restaurant’s upscale feel, it never felt pretentious—just exceptionally well-run, and FUN.
I wont lie. The price is a bit hefty, but WELL worth it.

This place is perfect for celebrating a special occasion or treating yourself to a refined dining experience. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much Chef Michael, You truely made our whole trip!!

Beautiful ambiance with a warm, modern feel. The Asian-inspired menu is creative and flavorful, and the prix fixe option is a great value. High quality, well priced, and definitely worth a visit.
