I’ve been coming to Joy Teriyaki in Gresham for years, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, and the portions are super generous. I usually order the lunch bowl, which comes in what looks like a small to-go container, but somehow, it’s like Hermione’s bag—they fit an unbelievable amount of food in there. I still think it’s sorcery! The girl who often runs things during lunchtime is always so friendly and welcoming—she greets you with a bright smile that makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

This was my first and last visit to this location. I’ve been to every other one and this was by far the absolute worst. Very unfriendly and curt to begin with. Couldn’t order what I wanted and have ordered at every other location. I like the chain for the signature spicy sauce they have. I’ve always ordered a spicy chicken bowl with white meat. I guess here, white meat is only offered in a more expensive plate with more food I didn’t want. So, I got dark meat. I don’t know what was used for the spicy sauce, but it was definitely not what I’ve had at every other location. And the portion size was the smallest I’ve experienced. Bad service, bad packaging, bad portion size, dirty restaurant, unfriendly staff. Absolutely NO reason to return. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

I got their chicken yakisoba to-go and it is so good! I love their teriyaki sauce and am surprised how much chicken I got. Decided to try a side of their spicy sauce and it’s pretty good too 🙂 Will definitely be back

One of the best Bibimbap bowls I have had in a while. Big, generous portion, excellent gojuchang and delicious veggies. The egg was even cooked perfectly. Ordering lunch from here made my workday better, and that’s pretty hard to say sometimes! Definitely worth a try.

I was in this restaurant because I read good reviews about it, but my chicken teriyaki was without teriyaki sauce, they only put king of hot sauce on tap of the chicken, the person who served me was a girl of about 10 years old while her mother played with the cellphone.

The person making the food and making the orders was absolutely amazing, they were so sweet and nice to talk with.
The food on the other hand was disgusting. The crab rangoons tasted extremely old and oily with a smidge of up-to-date filling. The entrees were bland with small portions of proteins.
