The experience was wonderful! After a long day of walking we were hoping to enjoy a taste of home.
As we stepped into the restaurant we were greeted with open arms, and the exquisite scenery (as if we were really in Greece!). The food was absolutely delicious! The souvlaki was tender and the salad tasted like a home away from home. For desert, the baklava was sweet and flavourful, and the loukoumades were extremely well made. I cannot be further excited for our next trip to New York City and to be able to experience this truly authentic Greek experience again!

My partner and I visited for lunch and it was the perfect spot. Our waiter Paul was spectacular at recommending plates for a light lunch. We had two skewers each as an entree paired with the Houmouli cheese. Our meal was simply divine. I had the Greek mule which is hands down the best Moscow mule I have ever had. The atmosphere was perfect for a lunch spot and the service was quick and pleasant. We look forward to returning soon

If you’re tired of that New York Winter, duck into Souvlaki GR. It’s basically a Greek teleportation device—one minute you’re dodging icy slush, the next you’re surrounded by blue walls and staff so authentically Greek I expected someone to start breaking plates.
The food is awesome, and the cocktail I “treated” myself to was the perfect Sunday lunch companion (read: it made me forget my toes were numb). 10/10 would hide from the wind here again.

Wonderful experience all around! The food was delicious, service was great and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. My children loved everything they tried,especially the Pastitsio and the Kotopoulo Bifteki. The lamb chops were the best I’ve ever had and the spicy feta dip was fantastic. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a very memorable meal!

I went in for the baklava but fell in love with the decor. Such an elegant feel and warm servers. I loved the chicken skewer and tzaziki sauce
Now the BAKLAVA….. it’s good, very dense, moist and has a lot of filling. BUTTTTT, it was Soggy. I mean why would you make an almost perfect dessert and let it get so soggy. It was really tasty but I really wish they would pay attention to the texture because it completely ruins it.

The place is small, and you should definitely make a reservation if you want to be sure to get a table. It’s beautifully decorated, and every detail is designed to make you feel like you’re on a Greek island. The menu is varied and delicious. I ordered the classic moussaka, and my companion had the souvlaki with fries. The lamb souvlaki was good—the best part was that it had nice, tender, and flavorful chunks of meat. My dish looked small when it arrived, but I could barely finish it. So delicious! I would definitely go back.
