It is for our valued customers that we craft our modern interpretation of this Ancient Greek cuisine called Souvlaki. Our mission is to bring souvlaki deliciousness to the people. We use only the freshest and most delicious ingredients and our souvlaki chefs love to fire up chicken, shrimp, steak and vegetables all day long. We re-bake pita bread on the premises, we make our own tzatziki (which you can eat with a spoon), our greek salads are mouthwatering and our baklava is incredible. There. We said it.

I work in the downtown Hartford area. I see Souvlaki City Food Truck nearly every day on my hour long lunch break walk. The owner John is not only an incredibly friendly and accommodating guy, but he makes the most delicious Souvlaki Pita sandwiches I’ve ever had. He cooks with a passion and love for the food and culture. Chicken, lamb, steak or salad, doesn’t matter what you get you will enjoy it thoroughly as I have for the past few months I’ve been going. Got the chicken soulvaki paid 22 dollars and got two chicken sticks worth. It was dry chicken wouldnt come off stick using the fork they gave. Very tough.
