Everything about our visit to Southwood Kitchen was absolutely amazing. I had the steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, and it was hands down the best steak I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. From the drinks to the appetizers, main courses, and desserts, every single thing we tried was outstanding.
The dining experience itself was just as impressive as the food. Our server Connor was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made sure we had a great visit. The service was excellent without ever feeling rushed, and the overall atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. This was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to come back.

First time, last night. The food was delicious and dessert as well. My husband and I got last night’s special, which was the ribeye steak. It was cooked perfectly. We really liked the hot crawfish and artichoke dip. Also, the crème brûlée cheesecake was amazing.

First visit, can’t wait to again. Went there for lunch and the food and service was excellent. We had the filet medallion and the shrimp and grits and they were excellent. The service was also great, had to wait a few minutes for a table,but it was lunch time so not surprised.

Shrimp and grits, beet salad was probably one of the best dishes I’ve had. Absolutely perfectly seasoned. I’m definitely going back for that. Highly recommend this restaurant even though it was my first time.

Absolutely delicious. I had the Scallops and they were fantastic. Hubby had the ribeye that he enjoyed a lot. He’s a picky steak eater. Both of our kids had the shrimp and grits and both enjoyed them, too. Us parents also enjoyed their Mardi Gras Mules and they were great. We also really liked their Crawfish and Artichoke Dip appetizer. Absolutely recommended! Stella was our server and she was AWESOME!
