The first time I visited this store I fell in love with their Moi-Moi and Asun, fast forward to the second visit it was not that good, but I gave a benefit of doubt. Following visit I was still hoping for a change but tonight I’m giving up.
Like seriously, I wish there was a way I could have tasted the moi-moi I brought home from the store tonight, only God knows how long it has stayed in the fridge. It wasn’t blended smoothly, not mixed right and above all it’s extremely sour. Ah! To think I spent my hard earned money to buy 6 of those!

As for the Asun which is meant to be a peppered meat, I do wonder who sold them the idea of making Asun with grounded pepper and just topping up with onion. Please how does that make Asun? And you are selling that a whopping $9.99
The meat is as dry as anything, it’s like putting onion on fried meat and anyone can do that, stop swindling people of their hard earned money in the name of Asun, you can erase that from the menu if you can’t get the cook to do the right thing.
I enjoyed the fried Tilapia and yam, spent money buying other cooked food like jollof rice, spaghetti and asaro and I’m seriously praying I don’t get disappointed again with those.
PS: it’s 4:11 am I can categorically tell you that I’ve been purging since 2:30am. Please restaurants are meant for freshly made foods, if your food is not fresh, you have no business selling it to people. Stop giving people food that has overstayed for days or weeks in the freezer. The fact that we are Africans does not make us animals please.

This is a beautiful nonsense, coming from church and my kids want to eat they asked me if we can go to (WASOBI) and buy designer stew but I said let’s go and try Farmers Market today gotten there we bought it my kids was so annoying because the taste is not tasting designer stew. Tasting the stew was crazy.
1. They use vegetable oil
2. The meat inside was smelling
3. It has no taste
4. Selling it $9:99

Designer stew ;

Ingredients for Designer Stew, also known as Ayamase or Ofada stew, include:
Palm oil: Bleached palm oil is used to fry vegetables and gives the sauce a nice aroma
Green bell peppers: Green paprika and Scotch bonnet peppers are used
Locust beans or Iru: A fermented spice that gives the stew a distinct aroma and makes it healthy
Designer Stew is a spicy Nigerian sauce that originated with the Yoruba people in the southwestern part of the country. It can be served with white rice or Ewa/Beans and rice.
You need a cook please you can reach out to me by replying or You can also watch videos on YouTube to learn how to make Designer Stew or any other foods. Please don’t spoil the little stew we are managing in Yoruba land. Thanks

Edit: Reduced star down to 2. You can’t use your debit/credit card unless you buy something up to $10. I mean this isn’t 2003 and Farmer’s Market isnt a small franchise, if a small franchise like God’s Glory can take card for $4 purchases, why can’t Southwest?
Plus their Puff-puff is way too oily.

Shopping experience was OK….however, the highlight of my trip were the freshly baked meat pies and hot cooked meals in take away plates. The Coconut rice was so tasty, it reminded me of home. The puff puff not so much.. too much yeast maybe..? Certainly worth another visit.

Their cooking is terrible. Their green stew tastes bad, their porridge, snail. They use spoil tomatoes, pepper, oli, plenty of salt. I never enjoyed any meal from them.. service, only their floor manager makes you feel welcome.

I shop at this location for most of my African grocery needs because prices are competitive. This location is also my go-to for yam, although it can be hit-or-miss which I think depends on transportation time from Africa and storage conditions. The kitchen has very delicious, well-made dishes including fried whiting (personal fav), stews and soups, puffpuff, etc.

I’m not sure who is responsible for preparing the food, but I’ve had three separate instances where the meals I purchased were inedible. The first time, the jollof rice I bought was saturated with undissolved Maggi seasoning, leaving me with a spoonful of it in my mouth. Last week, I tried the jollof rice again, and it turned out to be more like over spicy rice. While I enjoy spicy food, this was inedible. Yesterday, I decided to give the fried rice a try, but it was completely tasteless. It seems like the food is just cooked and displayed without any attention to flavor and how it looks. Please, taste your food before serving it to customers. I only kept returning because this is the route I take to my job. Really!!!!!!! you people need to do better.
