The fried pork chop sandwich is incredible, and the people are too. I haven’t tried anything else there yet because that sandwich is so good but there’s lots on the menu that I want to try! I think about the sandwich more often than I’d like to admit.

We stumbled onto this true hole-in-the-wall on a long road trip down from the North, and Lord have mercy… HOLY COW! Hands down the best deep-fried pork chops I’ve ever had… and I come from a culture that takes pork very seriously. Crispy, juicy, and cooked like someone’s been doing it the same way for the last 40 years because there’s no reason to change perfection.
But the food is only half the experience. While you’re waiting the 15 minutes for your chop to be cooked fresh right in front of you, you get a front-row seat to real Mississippi life: locals stopping in not just to eat, but to swap gossip, talk about who’s dating, who’s changed, and who shouldn’t be doing what they’re doing… all behind a well-worn glass counter that looks like it’s heard more stories than it could ever tell.
This place doesn’t try to impress. It just feeds you right and lets the South do the rest. If you blink, you might miss it. If you stop, you’ll remember it.

Greeted with a smile! A menu of burgers, sandwiches, chicken wings, turkey, pork options and weekend specials of ribs, brisket and Hog Maw! (Pork stomach with rice)!
It’s a small restaurant on the south side of Greenville just off the downtown. At the corner of US 82 and Dallvira Rd. in Greenville, MS.
Order at the counter and wait for them to call your name. Soft drinks are in the cooler. Not a real dining room type of place. There are 2 tables in the back room, but everything is to go.
Today we had the burger with seasoned fries and a fried pork chop sandwich!
The burger was huge, well-seasoned and cooked to order on the flat top. Served on a fresh, big bun with whatever fixins’ you want on it. The burger was juicy and “worth it.”
The fried pork chop sandwich was bigger than the plate it was not served on. Crispy, tender pork, seasoned and fried crispy. Again, served on a huge soft bun dressed the way you like it.
Crispy, salty, seasoned fries. Get plenty of napkins.
South side is famous for treating the locals and regulars like family! They have served high profile elected officials; mayors, congressmen and presidential candidates!
Eat here. Try the burger and something else, if you’re feeling brave! The friendly service and quality food will have you coming back!

I love this place too! Burgers, Turkey Leg off the bone with/with out the Works (rice, cheese, jalapenos), Brisket sandwich, Chitterlings with rice, and Large or Small salads. The salads are simple: lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and ham… but they are so good! I suggest any of these items!
