I stopped by Southside Grill tonight to pick up some dinner and had a great experience. I ordered online, a steak & cheese and a 6-piece buffalo wings, and the food was ready in about 20 minutes. Super easy pickup and really friendly staff.
The steak & cheese was surprisingly big, almost a foot long, and packed with meat. I saw another review saying it was a “top five” steak & cheese. Maybe not quite top five for me, but it was very good, especially for the price. Great flavor, generous portion, and definitely a solid value.
The wings were awesome too. Big, meaty, juicy, and the buffalo sauce had great flavor. I actually ended up dipping some of my steak & cheese into the wing sauce, and it worked so well that I might ask for buffalo sauce on the side next time.
All in, it was around $22, which felt very reasonable for how much food I got and how good everything tasted. Overall, delicious food, fast service, and friendly people. I’ll definitely be going back!

I wanted a juicy burger off the Grill and YES THEY DELIVERED!!! This place is small but the flavors of the food is Big I ordered the Outlaw burger with bacon and my husband had a steak and cheese sub. The burger came with a fried onion ring, lettuce, tomatoe,cheese and bbq sauce on a brioche bun and it was DELICIOUS. They have an outside patio where we ate at and the waitress was very nice if your ever in Cheshire it’s a must place to eat at my Husband said it was one of the best steak and cheese subs he have had…Thank you to the cook…

Work two buildings away from here and this is my first time going in for lunch. Ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich on a hard roll. Did not disappoint! The chicken had a nice crispy crust with tender inside, enough lettuce and tomato but not too much. I could have personally used a little more mayo but that’s on me. Sweet potato fries were excellent being crispy and tasty, not greasy at all! Also they have Foxon Park soda and that a plus for me. Cannot wait to try something else!

This is not your “I came to be wowed by your decor” place. But they will wow you where it counts. New spot just recently opened and they’re packing a punch.
I was undecided what to order until I saw pastrami on the menu. I haven’t had a great pastrami in a long time – and the young lady at the counter swore by it.
Ok fine… I ordered it and the clam chowder and nephew got the chicken cutlet BLT.
The pastrami was very good, juicy and well cured. It did have a tad more salt my palate cares for but the Russian dressing calmed the taste buds. The clam chowder was very good as well but did have more potato bits than I’m used to. The clam chowder was warm at best – it was cold outside so a nice hot temperature clam chowder would’ve done nicely. But the flavors were there nonetheless.
Nephew’s chicken cutlet BLT promises was very good – he can eat and knows food. He makes it a priority to find me places I would enjoy… Thanks pa!

We went there for the first time a few days ago and I loved it! The service was so fast, we ordered under a couple of minutes, we sat on the beautiful patio and by the time we were situated, our food started getting served, which we really appreciated since we had hungry kiddos on the table. The food was delicious. The chicken on my wrap was the softest chicken I’ve had in a wrap. I will definitely go again!

So the Chicken cutlet sub and cheese burger was good enough that the wife and I went back the very next day. The staff is great, food is excellent. This is not a run of the mill spot on CT10. Its an absolute hidden gem. One of the owners came by to say hi and talked about the local ingredients among some plans in the works. This is pretty much the crunchiest sub spot you are going to find nearby in Chesire.

I had an absolutely delicious and fresh chef salad. The turkey on it was especially tasty. My husband had the chicken salad wrap. Also yummy. Patio is very inviting as well. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We’ll be back.
