Sooo delicious and so thankful to live nearby! Who wouldn’t want homemade, quality BBQ at an amazing price!? They are such sweet people and prepare your food very fast. With the prices of fast food nowadays, I’m pretty sure it’s cheaper than any fast food for the amount of food?? (Yet way better!) It’s a no brainer to eat here and support local! My first time visiting this place, I call in an order based on the online menu and reviews. I got 2 combo plates with pulled pork and pulled chicken (they were out of leg quarters) with Mac & baked beans. Everything looked good. The environment was clean and I was greeted immediately. My food was packed neatly but the only thing that bothered me was the hot sauce packet that was on top, I immediately noticed the color is off. I know hot sauce keeps pretty good and has a long shelf life, but this looked expired. I looked at the second plate and it was the same for the hot sauce as that one. I know yall probably thinking just throw it away, and I did. I’m just funny about where I get food from, and I kinda wondered to myself if they stored things properly or checked condiments. I just don’t know how that would’ve gotten past me or even if some people don’t care about color changes in condiments I wouldn’t give it to my customers. But not trying to be negative, the lady that took my order over the phone was very sweet and pleasant I spotted her soon as I walked in and she greeted me. I assume she was an owner. The food was good, and I’ll return hopefully they will have leg quarters then, and the Brunswick stew I want to try them. Also the prices are nice and affordable. I attached pictures. Luckily I had hotsauce packs at home(one on left was in my food, one on right I already had in my condiments drawer)

So here’s the deal from beginning to end I walk into the store and I love the Smoky smell. That’s a dying sensation in most barbecue shops that I’ve been in lately. I ordered the Big Pig because for a dollar more than a regular sandwich why not and it was about 3 in of meat in between the Buns which is huge. Definitely a great value in my book and the bag and the sandwich smelled amazing., my sandwich tasted amazing. Juicy, well seasoned, and a little tender the meet without the barbecue sauce is seasoned just slightly on spicy side while being very mild in nature. but the reason why I’m giving it four stars is for me there was certain things that were missing. I prefer a more sweet brown sugar sauce and the only two options available were spicy and tangy. The other aspect is I prefer a Toasted buttery Bun, it’s a thing that’s rarely done anymore but for some reason when it’s done I get extremely excited. Just for reference my childhood memories of barbecue is from Mississippi so I kind of don’t consider this a fair review because I think it’s heavily biased but I want to make this as honest as possible
