I am not from the area, but was working outside of town. Went in to Southside for 11am lunch. There were a few people in there and plenty of seating.
Ordered a cheeseburger, fries and slaw, while sitting at the bar.
Waitress was great, the food was great (see my photos) and a laid back atmosphere.
Do Not Be Scared to walk in!
It is right across the street from courthouse on the town square.

Absolutely loved this place. The food and service were both excellent, and it was easily the best burger I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything came out quickly. The staff was friendly and genuinely smiled, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Wide variety of menu items to choose from. Good quality meat products offered from local Woods Smoked Meats. Delicious options to choose from. My favorites are Pizza, Steak, Pasta, Western Burgers and Summer Salads. Also great selection of alcoholic beverages. Awesome Friendly Service. Great place to stop for all your dining needs. Friendly atmosphere.

I stopped in here with the crew. They get food from here regular and it’s a popular hang out for the locals. We got several menu options but the only ones I tried was the grilled chicken sandwich which was good and the cheese “curds.” That’s where the rub came in, they were cheese curds of you just classify them as cheese. However, if you want authentic cheese curds or anything resembling them, this is definitely not it. They are yellow cheddar cheese sticks, cut up in pieces and breaded. The place was clean and the service was quick. However, it’s a bar and the restroom was single user which seemed rather odd for a bar. You know, once you break the seal. Over all it’s not a bad place, it’s a bar.

Atmosphere was nice. Service was sloooow. Had to ask about our food several times. Didn’t get our appetizer until 45 minutes in and we were there for about 2 hours total. Jalapeno bites were the best part. Steak was small and way over cooked to the point of chewy. Salad was okay, wings were okay but kinda bland. Will not be returning.
