When they first open a couple years ago it was good but whoever in there cooking need to be fired immediately!!!!!! I’ve never got pieces of meat this small in my life, I don’t even want to start on the “rice and peas” and the “jerk sauce” you have to pay extra for is worthiscier sauce and I paid for two bottles of water I never received. I came into the establishment at 8:36p to purchase two jerk salmon dinners. I live 5 mins away and when I got home the salmon was hard and dry and didn’t appear to be fresh and definitely not at the 25 min wait. I called the establishment at 10:15p asked to speak to a manager a young lady answered and said she would get a manager on the phone only for her to return to the phone. I gave her a description of the food we received and she stated that everybody taste buds were different and some other nonsense, not once taking accountability. Whomever the person preparing the food began yelling in the background after she suggested that the establishment would check the expiration dates being really hostile towards my complaint and to the young lady on the phone. He became very defensive and she did a horrible job listening to my concerns as she over talked, and continued to argue and defend herself with the male in the background. I then asked for the managers name because clearly she wasn’t equipped to handle customers with complaints intelligently, she stated she couldn’t give the managers name out with no explanation why just that she couldn’t. Trash with Extra Ignorance!

Their jerk chicken is amazing. However, I tried something else on the menu that I couldn’t even finish. The chicken alfredo was not really edible. Overcooked pasta, minced up chicken all in a while sauce. There was no hit of cheese anywhere. Just soupy white sauce with no flavor and huge pieces of broccoli.

I ordered the shrimp and steak alfredo bowl. The shrimp was overcooked. As you can see their so called steak is actually hamburger meat. It didn’t even have the steak taste. There wasn’t enough Alfredo sauce in the bowl. I didn’t like the taste of the food at all. I also waited over 30 mins for my food.

I ordered a $16 steak burrito for delivery. When the package showed up it seemed a little light. I opened it up and found that my burrito had basically nothing in it. Just so you can see, I picked out EVERY SPECK of meat from the burrito, piled it on a plate next to a quarter, and took the attached picture. Here’s my recommendation about Southshore BBQ: run screaming in any direction that will take you far away from this dumpster fire of a restaurant.

Only got a picture of this in total. Ordered a large loaded fry, two steak jerk tacos , small pork rib tip, & a dark dinner automatically includes rice and beans with two sides. Prices not bad : Macaroni was good definitely not the best baked but it was good enough for restaurant maybe 2/5 or 6/10 chicken is 3/5 or 6/10 not the jerk flavor you looking for but it’s casual. LOVED the loaded fries came with steak, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and cilantro those were fire! Cause I love seasoned fries. The rib tips barley had meat and the sauce could had been better. The jerk tacos shells were barley cooked I probably wouldn’t get anything but the jerk fries again honestly and it would be a lick of a stop because like I said those were bomb. Definitely needs more work on certain items. Provided a picture of my pick thru food didn’t care for the rice and beans they tasted like they were kinda threw together regular rice & regular red beans not really the regular jerk hit the sweet potatoes were good tho

Absolutely do not order delivery from them. I ordered waffles with 4 wings, cabbage, and Mac and cheese. Instead I received 10 wings. No waffle, no cabbage, no Mac and cheese. They didn’t even throw in a substitute side. I dont understand why they would send this to someone knowing that pretty much everything in the order was missing. They should have canceled my order when they knew they didn’t have none of the items but instead they just took my $24 and just sent whatever. I know I didn’t just receive someone’s else’s order because they scratched off all the items on my ordering receipt except wings.
