Back in Shreveport for a concert. Last time here I took my wife here for breakfast.
She liked it so much wanted to go back for lunch.
Had chicken fried steak with Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and a broccoli cheese rice casserole that was OFF THE CHART GOOD!
I would work there for free to learn how they make it!
Will be back next week after we return for another concert!

Disappointed with the food. Smothered porkchop was barely warm and really tough to cut. Plus, there was a weird after taste. So, I only ate one bite and sent it back. Chicken and dumplings were unrecognizable clumps of something we couldn’t easily identify. Overall, food tasted old, was lukewarm and strangely seasoned.

I found a small gem today. In Shreveport Louisiana. I am from Alexandria Louisiana. Me and my mother come up there twice a year to find great places small mom and pop diners. Even though it’s no Diner. I learned a little history about the place and the hot air balloons that be coming through there. If you have never ate there before I would highly recommend it the food was on point the atmosphere was great the service was even better you cannot find Mom and Pop places like this I look forward to coming to there again I would literally go out of my way just to get there. Thanks for the amazing customer service and hospitality.

My friends and I wanted something different so we gave this place a try and definitely 10/10! I got the chicken & dumplins, turnip greens, fried squash, beans, and cornbread. The pancakes looked amazing but didn’t try any.
