I’ve tried their curry chicken sandwich and their classic burger. Both were delicious! The traditional cracklins were good, but definitely felt like a lot of fat and oil. Probably would try the adobo ones next time (I’m allergic to peanuts and didn’t realize they have a no-nut adobo option until after I ordered). Their sauces are great too!

This fried chicken sandwich was MASSIVE and so juicy The fries were perfectly crispy and the dipping sauces??? unreal. I got the Phuket sauce kind of like a garlic aioli and it was so good I dipped the fries AND put it on the sandwich. They’ve got different spice levels and flavors so you can really customize it, plus they also have burgers. On top of that, you get a ton of food + a drink for under $20. Customer service was top tier she even let me sample the sweet heat sauce and was seriously the sweetest. I already can’t wait to go back

Overall a great experience.
What’s right in this world is someone finally has flawless cracklins, fried to order. The traditional ones were perfect. I look forward to trying the others.
The Phuket sauce was freshly made and really tasty.
The chili cheese burger was awkward. Had to knife and fork it (which wasn’t the problem)
-aioli was perfect
-the bun was tasty
-the meat seemed fine (but got lost under the…)
-fried mozzarella was soaked and sloppy from…
-the chili tasted Italian once it soaked into the breading from the fried mozzarella
-jalapeños went almost undetected due to so may other flavors
-fried onions were a highlight
The chicken sandwich is thigh. Which I’m fine with but if you’re used to Popeyes breast sandwich you may find this texturally a wreck for some bites.
The slaw gets lost due to the flavorful punch from the chicken breading and sauce. I’m also ok with that as I don’t care slaw. So. Yay.
The fries weren’t bad. But again, that Phuket sauce was great.

The employees were all extremely kind. Even after I came in 20 minutes early! (I’m not from around town, and didn’t think to read the website)
Ms. Wanda even allowed me to order early. She was really kind and made good conversation! One of the male staff members offered me a drink while I waited. I politely declined, due to feeling a bit burdensome for coming in before they were even open.
I ended up getting the Classic Southern Chicken Sandwich. The wait time was a lot shorter than I thought it would be.
The chicken was really big, if I didn’t know any better, I’d think they butchered the chicken right when I ordered! It was really juicy. And not greasy by a long shot! I had a good time here, and next time, I’ll try a burger instead! I wish they had one in Houma.

OUTSTANDING!!!! I’m a nola native(so food snob lol) but now live out of state up in Wv. I came into town to visit my mom and like always I craved the flavors of home. To be exact King cake and beignets! Someone told me Southerns had “King cake Beignets” and I was sold for a visit. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Heidi at the counter she explained to me the menu and knew every oddball question i threw at her (I’m good at those).All items were reasonably priced! I got the cracklings and the coconut curry chicken sandwich with king cake beignets for dessert. Everything was near perfection and It honestly just left me wanting more! The staff was great and the place was spotless literally one of the highlights of my trip!! A MUST TRY! I will be back every time I come back home go visit.

It’s counter service that will walk the food to your table. Having said that, everyone there was super friendly. The food was amazing. Great flavor, not just spice, the burger was tender and flavorful. Fries were crispy, seasoned well, and still soft on the inside. The only negative is there isn’t much to the inside as “ATMOSPHERE”, and parking situation is not the best. I would definitely recommend here and will be back.

Stopped here by chance and boy it did not disappoint! Hands down one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had. Add the queso and it was perfection . The staff are so kind and personable. This is a must try anytime you’re in new orleans area.

I came from Madisonville across Lake Pontchatrain from a TikTok review. Let me tell you…the food and service was 10/10!!! Try and come and ask for Imani and Heydi! They were so welcoming and helpful with suggestions! Not to mention they were both beautiful souls! The place was spotless and everyone was working hard! This is a must go spot!!!
