2024 Update:
Still great! My wife loved the eggs benedict and my pork chops were lightly breaded, juicy, and good flavor. Coffee is good and staff is great!
Nice decor that handles the noise really well. They were busy this morning but the noise was NOT drowning out our conversation.

Amazing!!! Among the best southern food I have ever had in a restaurant. The flavors of everything were incredible. The fried steak melted like butter in your mouth, the scrambled eggs were a fluffy delight, and the seasoned potatoes went perfectly with it all. The shrimp and grits was so savory and the fried eggs were cooked perfectly!!! Was not expecting such a big glass of sweet tea which was also good. Next time I go I want to try more things because everything sounded so good but it will be hard to beat what already tried. There is a wide variety of options both savory and sweet (even some more healthy options).

This is a great quaint little place that has wonderful Southern charm. The breakfast menu is extensive as well as the lunch menu. Everything was prepared perfectly and delivered hot. My eggs were perfectly runny like I ordered them. I was a little disappointed that there was only one piece of toast for my two eggs but it was no big deal. The home fries were cooked perfectly. I was thinking about giving this place a one-star rating because once people find out how good this place is they’re not going to ever be able to keep up with the amount of business they’ll have. The service was excellent. They also have a full bar. We will be back. We enjoyed another great lunch today. Perfectly fried shrimp and fries. The collard greens were delicious. Also enjoyed the Harbor omelette. Service was great.

WOW!!!! What a great find. My wife and I stopped there today for the first time and I can’t explain how a place this is. The food, atmosphere and service was top notch. I had the MOM breakfast with grits and it was really good. If ever near this place, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. It was our first time but it will definitely won’t be the last ❤️.

Southern Taste Kitchen is one of our favorite spots for breakfast! My family and I go often, and the food is always fresh, hearty, and delicious—true comfort food. The staff is welcoming and makes you feel right at home. I just wish we lived closer—we’d be there even more often! Definitely worth the trip every time.

My mother had a stroke around Thanksgiving and her taste buds were off…..she had the pork chops, mashed potatoes and collards today and said that was the best tasting food she has tasted since the stroke. Hands down a great restaurant!
