Celebrating my bday week on a cruise however in Miami a few days early and came across this restaurant. The appearance is exactly what I expected when you run across a gem the smell in the inside was unpleasant however the cleanliness of the restaurant from the bathroom, eating area and the kitchen made up for it. I couldn’t believe they had chitterlings on the menu but it was better than I expected. They also make their cornbread shaped like pancakes but you can tell it was homemade and not jiffy but still had a sweetness to it which we really enjoyed. Rice was a little dry but all in all I would def stop here again while visiting. Check them out

While visiting Miami, my family located this spot by reviewing Google. We ordered Oxtails, Pig Feet, Wings, Shrimp, and Catfish. All of which, were pretty tasty and came with a lot on the plate. The guy who served us was very kind, especially dealing with some of the elders who were with us. I would patronize this place again anytime we’re in Miami.

My wife and I went twice on different days and times and got a variety of foods. Both servers were very pleasant and helpful. Thank you for your excellent customer service. As for the food, exceptional. Mac, slaw, yams really good. Turkey wings, chicken same. Both were seasoned, juicy, and large as far as a portion. But the collard greens were the best we have ever had. Not even a close second. Going back again for catfish and shrimp. Check the pictures out and give them a try. You will be full of tasty goodness and you won’t be broke because the prices were very good. Bless up!!

I’ve been in Miami since Sunday October 30th. And today is November 1st and me and my girlfriend came all the way from Dallas Texas. I tried several places here in Miami. But this place was the best place that I’ve eaten in Miami. And this may be the best soul food I’ve ever had in my life. And I’m a soul food fanatic. They have absolutely great food there and great service. The building is kind of old but I didn’t come there to eat the building. I came there to eat the food and enjoy the service in the food and service was absolutely great. Big ups to all those guys over there. I will definitely be back when I come to Miami again.

This is my third time visiting Miami and I always try to travel to different restaurants each time. This will for sure be a repeat spot for me. The Oxtails were so tender falling off the bone!! The seasoning on the green beans and Mac and cheese was on point !! Waited maybe 10-15 mins for the food, was good customer service.

Nobody really enjoyed their meal. The Mac and cheese were pretty good. But the fish (tilapia)was a little salty for my taste.

My family was visiting from out of town, and we came across this place hoping to find a hidden gem. Instead, we found every warning sign imaginable. First red flag: the neighborhood. Let’s be real — this is deep in the hood, and not the kind of area you want to casually pull up to, especially with kids or out-of-town guests.
We tried not to judge a book by its cover, but the exterior of the building looked run-down and completely uninviting. Against our better judgment, we decided to give it a chance anyway. Big mistake. The moment we walked in, we were smacked in the face with a strong, foul odor that was absolutely unacceptable for any place serving food.
I don’t know what kind of standards people settle for, but I refuse. A restaurant should meet at least the bare minimum: cleanliness, class, and basic professionalism.
Literally walked in and walked right back out. It’s a Hell-to-the-NO!
