Oh my! I thoroughly enjoyed my food, and so did my family. They had great customer service. Our server, Z, was amazing! She attended to all of our needs and was very visible, the right amount of visibility. We all enjoyed our food. The Southern Still is a gem!

I had an amazing experience at Southern Still! The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, fresh, and full of Southern flavor. But what really made the visit special was our waitress, Tamika. She was awesome! Friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. She checked on us often without being overbearing and had such a positive attitude that made the whole meal even better. Great service and great food, can’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Disappointing Experience
Unfortunately, my visit was not enjoyable. The food quality and customer service both need improvement. Our server appeared disengaged and was often unavailable, which made the dining experience less pleasant. It also took over 45 minutes for our food to be served.
Additionally, it was concerning to hear the kitchen staff arguing during service — this is not something guests should experience while dining.
As for the food:
• The chicken and dressing lacked flavor.
• The oxtails were fatty and under-seasoned.
• The chicken and dumplings were dry.
Overall, the experience did not meet expectations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements to both the service and food quality.

I had the baked chicken and dressing, sweet potatoes, and Mac and cheese. The chicken was really good and tender, but the dressing wasn’t my favorite. The sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese were great! I also bought the peach cobbler, which I thought was pretty bland and I only ate a few bites and tossed it. Service was okay but could definitely be improved. I walked in and order and got my food to go. Everyone inside appeared to be enjoying their time. Also I only paid around $20 for all of this!

Great service and awesome food. My wife and our Friends really enjoy ourselves, every thing was nice and cozy . We even had plenty of room with private space to to dance and have fun. There is no doubt we will be returning again soon!!!

Chasity took great care of us!!! I can’t wait to come back again. Such a well rounded atmosphere and positive attitude from the entire staff. Everyone was super welcoming and accommodating. The food is always exceptional, too. The catfish, chicken and dressing, and literally every side is worth getting every chance you can.

I don’t know what this place is like dining in, but I ordered a delivery and I literally got nothing I ordered, the fries were not steak fries, the wings was supposed to be crispy fried wings, I got I don’t even know what to call it, the food was hot tho.. you can miss me with this place if this is what you get.. smh

I had dinner last Sunday, fried chicken, greens and potatoes salad. I had dark meat, one leg and thigh. The crust looked good on the chicken, but on the inside of the leg had dry blood on the bone. The meat needed to be soaked in salt water or clean better. The services was under staff. My waiter was just running. I don’t know what happened, but the couple in front of me, stopped eating their food, and talked to one of the servers that was cleaning the tables then left without paying. They looked at me and shakes their heads.

Chasity is always amazing. And so are the other bartenders. I’ve been to this establishment multiple times and I’ve yet to have a bad experience. It’s a vibe… the lamb chops are EVERYTHING! And the tacos! Whewww I’ll be back for sure !
