My favorite place for American (southern style)comfort food. This is a perfect place if you are often unsure of what to eat for lunch or want a little bit of everything lol. There’s a hot buffet which they frequently replenish, and a big selection of some prepacked food to go. Everything I’ve had has been great and super affordable. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our visit. The fried green tomatoes were crispy and quite tasty. the shrimp was huge and cooked well. I didn’t care for the stuffed tomato. All in all for the price it was a good meal.

Good home cooking comfort food. Lunch buffet always has a good assortment and delicious. Plenty of carry-out take & reheat options (casseroles, soups, entrees, massive quiche, ribs), great salads, along with tons of great desserts including massive Rice Krispie treats and delicious banana bread. Their fish on Fridays is the best around with a unique breading. It’s a meat & 3 / blue plate specials restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating downtown. Signal Mtn location is similar but only indoor seating and not as many seats. Great business lunch location!

I’m not even going to lie, I came in with really low expectations just because I didnt think it would live up to the hype! The food was really good though. I ordered meatloaf greens mash potatoes and pinto beans. I thought the food would be bland but its well seasoned. The only thing I ordered that was flavorless was the banana pudding. Beautiful display but it tasted like off brand mix and there was barely any banana or cookie in it. The marshmallow top was different and wouldve been a great topping if the pudding wasn’t so blah but anyways our waiter was nice and the establishment was clean. Everyone seemed in order with covid protocol. This meal for $10 is a good deal, I would definitely visit again.
