I ordered the rib tip plate. Not a lick of salt, or anything else, other than probably pepper. The rib tips were on the tough side, and the membrane was still attached. For the price, you would think it came with a slice of bread.. nope. I also ordered the brisket and hot link sandwich. The sausage was cold in the middle, I had to take it back, for a replacement. The replacement was the exact sausage I had just returned..I think they microwaved it. I know it was the same one, because I took a bite out of the “first one” and the same bite was in the “second one.” Also, for the price, $16, it’s really a scam and a shame that it doesn’t even come with fries!
I wouldn’t return here, and I wouldn’t recommend. As expensive as food is, they are playing in people’s face with this mess. This has really made commit to not eating out again, for the rest of the week!

Unfortunately, I don’t believe theyIl have the same Black owners and the quality of the food has deteriorated. I purchased the catfish twice since the unfamiliar faces have been parked at Lowe’s in Fairfield. There used to be a young Black guy who made mouth watering catfish. He is no longer in the truck; he hasn’t been the the last two times I purchased their food. I won’t return. I began supporting Southern Smokehouse BBQ when they had a brick and mortar spot in Suisun. I was thrilled when they transitioned to a food truck and traveled to Fairfield and Vacaville.
Unfortunately, the taste that kept me returning back is no longer there.

Catfish sandwich was really good. Never had one before but definitely something im going to keep an eye out for now and the chicken fries are great the portion was pretty big and saucy and the pulled pork sandwich was good but the catfish definitely tops it
