Family owned and operated for over 30 years. Located in downtown Hattiesburg. Our business sell both fresh seafood(market side) and southern cooking.
We’re known for our food, which consists of fried catfish, fried butterflied shrimps, Poboys and many varieties of classic southern vegetables.
We pride ourselves in providing and serving Mississippi Farm Raised Catfish, Gulf shrimp(which we butterfly in house), Gulf oysters. Which is freshly hand breaded to a light golden brown with great seafood flavors, not heavy breading.
Our vegetables consists of collard/turnip greens, yams, cabbage, baked beans, lima beans, green beans, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and many more options.

First time here and ordered the small seafood platter which mine came with one piece of catfish, six piece of fried shrimp, two hush puppies, and a side of fries. The staff is super friendly. I loved how convenient this place is. The best thing that I got was a shrimp that was a five out of five, the catfish was four out of five, everything else was good. I highly recommend this place would come back.

Shrimp was a bit warmed-over and had no crunch/crisp left, so was a bit disappointing. Flavor was on point. Loved the collars.
Cornbread was so dry and crumbly that it felt like yesterday’s.

This seems to be a neighborhood gem!!! It’s a restaurant and a fresh seafood grocery store. We had the shrimp po-boy and I had a side order of cabbage. The bread was PERFECT and the shrimp had a very lite breading on them. There was so many shrimp on the sandwich they kept falling out of the bread. I love finds like the Southern Seafood Company – pricing was great – food DELICIOUS – staff friendly. This is definitely not a fancy restaurant but it is a must try

The raw food is reasonably priced. The staff sometimes seems irritated. I do not eat the cooked food because I do not like fish fry (corn meal please).
