Was delicious! Had baked salmon and it was so good. The staff were excellent and kind, food came out pretty quick and everything was to our liking. And the cost was very reasonable. Will definitely come back!

Matt Tarillion either didn’t eat here or he was turned down by a waitress or bartender or cut off! The food is amazing! The service is phenomenal! Pulled pork nachos is amazing! The wine and cheese salad dressing I could drink by the bucket! The pork steak are to die for! My only complaint is that when I go there I have to decide what I want to eat! To many delicious options! You can order the pulled pork nachos and it’s enough to feed to people as an entree! Good food, great service! Awesome drinks! Bartenders always mix a delicious drink! Try it out definitely recommend it

I had the loaded shrimp scampi, it was amazing! The service was great and our meal was served in a timely manner (which needs to be said in this area). The icing on the cake was the classic rock. We will definitely come back to enjoy this restaurant.

Had a tremendously negative first time experience here. Our wait time for the food was atrocious. When we received our food, it was not what we specifically ordered. However due to the wait time we just had to stomach the place out of fear of a longer wait. The quality of my food (nachos) was good, however my partner’s scampi was borderline uneatable. I’m really confused as to what could have happened with the dish, my best guess would be that it was accidentally cooked with an incorrect sauce (taste was almost like a bizarre mixture of soy sauce and pesto). I want to make it very clear that this review is not targeted to the general staff, who were working their absolute best, to ensure a good dining experience. To them I have nothing but mad respect. However this is shot towards management, who should not have only one waiter and one/two cooks working at one time. I want to return so badly but for a $50 meal im pretty much permanently scared away from doing business here again.

Our softball team converged on Southern Roots this weekend. With 32 people looking to find a place for a team dinner in Perryville, this was the perfect place. The owner agreed to hold us a large section of the dining room at 5:30 even though several prom dinners were also going on that night. The food was very good, the service was excellent (the owner herself was helping out), and it was a very enjoyable dinner for everyone. We will be back next time through!

It was okay. They are super short staffed so an hour meal took 3. So don’t go if your in a hurry. My meat was delicious but my Mac n cheese was burnt to the bowl like it was pre-cooked then microwaved.

After hearing family and friends rave about this place my wife and I decided to place a takeout order on March 9th, 2021. The service was friendly, our order was located, and given to us promptly from behind the bar area. The cost vs. portion size was the only disappointing bit of our entire experience. Worth a try for sure.

Best steak I’ve ever had, I had it gone in less than 2 minutes, and wanted to order another. My wife and I had absolutely nothing to complain about , everything was on point. Great service, great place to eat for sure.
