Came here to get a breakfast taco actually two tacos. Also got two cream filled Donuts which they forgot to fill with cream. The tacos/burritos are very generous in size. Good taste as well.

I just stopped there to get two breakfast burritos and mannn have they fallen they used to be big and tasty, one burrito would keep you full all-day now they’re really small and cost more and their using this cheap government cheese that doesn’t melt and still constipate you the taste is awful!!!!!

The gumbo was horrible. I tried calling, but they were closed. I was going to tell them I would cook gumbo for them for a set price. They shouldn’t be feeding Lumberton this and calling it gumbo. Love these people though, great. Awesome breakfast burritos, just need a tad more seasoning.

Southern maid is a cute, eclectic breakfast and lunch shop, not just a donut shop. It has breakfast tacos croissants kolaches donuts and a whole other menu for lunch. So much more than I thought it would be the first time I went in there, it is delicious, has a great aroma, and is fantastic overall!

I highly recommend Southern Maid, the food is delicious and the employees are polite and helpful. I realized the other day that I have grown accustomed to purchasing traditional Czech sausage pastries from a Vietnamese man in Southeast Texas. And I think it’s great that diverse individuals of unique ethnic ancestry can come together with the understanding that delicious food, no matter where it’s from, is delicious. And the guys in the back can whip up a mean breakfast taco to boot.

I’m really torn between 3 and 4 stars. The food was really good(I got the kolache with cheese). The problem was I had to heat it up my self. Not a huge deal, but if I’m gonna give five stars if like to get my food hot with out me heating it up.
