Our store at Washington Auto Parts is very close to Southern Komfort Bar & Grill so we discovered them quickly. We don’t have much time to order food as we are very busy & always on the fly. So it’s very convenient being able to order and pickup food from these guys. The owner is a great guy.

The smothered turkey wings were tender and tasty, the yams was amazing and the greens was good! The mac n cheese was okay. But that entree of smothered turney wings was AMAZING! Yams and collard greens for your sides and you will not go wrong!! I will be back when in the area.

The place was empty and service was ridiculously slow. They were out of beef ribs so I ordered the fried chicken, Mac, and greens. The chicken was very dark and tasted like it was fried in old grease. The Mac was ok, definitely not homemade, the greens lacked flavor and meat. The barmaid was too busy chatting and getting her drink on that she never even checked on us. Very disappointed. I’ve been there a few times and everything was always great. Again, very disappointed.

The atmosphere is nice, the waitress are nice but we waited about 45 min just to receive cold food. At the present time I would not recommend the food. I am taken it home to put in my own microwave. COLD in a hot facility. Young crowd. GREAT HOUSE MUSIC oh got there around 10 pm and no fried white meat chicken, no crabs, and the fried whiting will give u high blood pressure. Sorry for the bad review but my food was COLD.

I was so happy to be invited to give this southern charm, restaurant a try. When I arrived I was able to find parking on the street nearby. I walked in and went to the back and gave my name. The nice young lady said I could sit anywhere. I sat at the bar, and Mo was my bartender, and she was great. I started with a mocktail and it was delicious! I then got served a bunch of items from Miss B, one of the owners/cook, and she was sooo generous! I had the fried shrimp, catfish, and salmon bites, seafood mac & cheese, soko and dolce wings, and the turkey chop entrée. My absolute favorite was the soko wings and the seafood mac & cheese! The flavors were perfect. It was an absolute great vibe, and I truly enjoyed. I want to thank them for everything!

The macaroni and cheese was terrible. Honestly, box velveta is better. Chicken was fried in old grease and the greens were flavorless. The “seafood salad is tuna salad with a few shrimp. I hate to leave a bad review but when spending $50 dollars on a meal it should taste at least somewhat good.

I ordered fried chicken, mac & cheese, candied yams & a sprite. The tastiest item was the Sprite. My food was disgusting! The Mac& cheese tastes spoiled, the candied yams tastes like mashed sweet potatoes that’s not sweet but tastes like it was cooked with equal sweetener and the chicken tasted old and hard. I don’t even want to give 1 star. I wouldn’t recommend the food to a dog!

I had the misfortune of going here on 2/23/23. I had fried red snapper, mac&cheese, collard greens and a piece of cornbread. First, the cornbread was scorched and hard as a brick. The mac&cheese was mushy and tasteless. Greens had to be canned. Oh and the fish? The grease had to be old and no it was not late. I went at 6pm.

Ordered from this restaurant before and was disappointed. Wanted to give them another’s chance since we all have our bad days. Unfortunately for me, I will not order again. Ordered 2 whiting dinners – greens, potato salad and Mac & cheese were my sides. The fish was excellent. Seasoned well, received four nice size pieces. The sides were subpar in my opinion. Penne pasta with barely there cheese, the greens were dry, bitter and salty, yet lacked flavor. The potato salad had a peculiar taste that I didn’t enjoy. As for the cornbread, I would even call it that. If I could rate the fish alone, I’d give it 4/5 but the sides 3/5 and that’s being generous. Both dinners totalled a little over $46
