I was so happy to be invited to give this southern charm, restaurant a try. When I arrived I was able to find parking on the street nearby. I walked in and went to the back and gave my name. The nice young lady said I could sit anywhere. I sat at the bar, and Mo was my bartender, and she was great. I started with a mocktail and it was delicious! I then got served a bunch of items from Miss B, one of the owners/cook, and she was sooo generous! I had the fried shrimp, catfish, and salmon bites, seafood mac & cheese, soko and dolce wings, and the turkey chop entrée. My absolute favorite was the soko wings and the seafood mac & cheese! The flavors were perfect. It was an absolute great vibe, and I truly enjoyed. I want to thank them for everything!

This place is a definite soul food dinner place. The food is delicious, the service is prompt and pleasant, the long island ice tea is everything, the music will have you singing and dancing and the atmosphere is calming. I recommend taking a date or just hanging out with the girls or guys. You will not be disappointed. Ps… There is an outdoor section for smokers….

I had the misfortune of going here on 2/23/23. I had fried red snapper, mac&cheese, collard greens and a piece of cornbread. First, the cornbread was scorched and hard as a brick. The mac&cheese was mushy and tasteless. Greens had to be canned. Oh and the fish? The grease had to be old and no it was not late. I went at 6pm.

The atmosphere is nice, the waitress are nice but we waited about 45 min just to receive cold food. At the present time I would not recommend the food. I am taken it home to put in my own microwave. COLD in a hot facility. Young crowd. GREAT HOUSE MUSIC oh got there around 10 pm and no fried white meat chicken, no crabs, and the fried whiting will give u high blood pressure. Sorry for the bad review but my food was COLD.

The food was better than the cook and servers. The music was good. The bar tender had her favorites. The cook was rude disorganized nasty looking. No hair net long and artificial nails. The server was immature and very unprofessional. We had a horrible experience. The server over charged us. My sister didn’t receive her order but we were charged for two meals never received. It was 5 of us but 2 separate receipts which should have been 3. Charged for gratuity for all 5 of us on both receipts. Called security when we told the cook we were ready to leave bcuz we no longer wanted to wait for another entree to be made. Two of our party received their food and left. Their order was wrong. Three of us remained to eat there and only 2 of us received our food. The server kept ignoring us and when she returned we were almost finished then she told my sister there were no more chicken left to order something else. By the time she put the order in we were completely done. We told her nevermind we were leaving. The cook came out yelling about how she had to cook the whole meal over but we tried to explain that that was not our fault the server told us too late after we sat there for over a hour waiting. Did I mention our food was cold when we got it? We didn’t make a fuss or asked to be reheated. The plate it was on was hotter than the food. We had to request the manager to have the gratuity and the 2 extra meals removed. The service and treatment made EVERYTHING HORRIBLE!!!

Was there on 8/13 for a large party. It was a friends birthday and they reserved tables. They were NOT prepared. Some of us waited 2-3 hours for food. We ended up cancelling food and getting a refund. The server we had was overwhelmed. I honestly felt bad for her. We waited for drinks for 30 mins. Hookah was not that great for $40. The dj was horrible. They also charged us $15-20 to get in. I hate giving bad reviews, especially for a black owned establishment. Small but cute spot but the service was unacceptable.

I ordered a wing dinner that was six dollars more sides was potato salad and collard greens when you ordered a wing dinner I was expecting a whole wings for $23. I got wings flings eight of them. I thought that was absolutely horrible. The food is not good at all. I want to support them, but they have to do better with the food. It just was not good.

They have different events every day of the week. My friends and I came on $5 Wednesday, and the drinks were hitting. I also enjoyed that the server came and took our drink order. That’s rare to see at times. Jazz, our waiter was very friendly and constantly checked on my guests and I to make sure we were taken care of. They have so many great options on their menu, so we decided to get wings and catfish bites. The food was so full of flavor. We definitely enjoyed the vibe and the food. They will definitely see my friends and I again

It was a nice atmosphere. The music was on point. I tired the wings, and I didn’t like them at all. It seemed as if the chicken and fish had the same batter, and I just wasn’t feeling it. Told the waiter she didn’t give me a hard time and removed it from the bill this my second time eating at here and this first where I wasn’t feeling the food at all. I didn’t have a drink, just water, the crowd was lite but grown and sexy and that my kinda environment.
