The thosai was huge and perfectly crispy, really satisfying! The coconut chutney paired with it so well, full of flavour. The paal appam was also very good, soft, fragrant, and nicely balanced. The price was affordable too. We enjoyed the meal! High recommend

Great customer service. The staff attended directly once entered the premises. Good choices of vege and non-vege items. Reasonable price. Banana leaf meal comes with 3 vege (can be choose) cost Rm10, Mutton peratal (90% was meat). Definitely will come again

After flying in from Subang to Johor Bahru with a very hungry stomach, I headed straight to Southern Indian Cuisine — and once again, they never failed me. This was actually my second visit, and the food still tastes just like home-cooked meals.
Honestly, I completely forgot to take photos because the food was simply too delicious . The staff were very attentive and even added extra rasam when requested, which I truly appreciated. Their mango chutney is definitely the highlight — I absolutely love it!
My last visit was back in 2024, and returning today, I’m happy to say the taste and quality remain exactly the same. Since I usually stay around Setia Tropika whenever I’m in Johor, this restaurant really makes my stay so much easier .
Already planning to come back for breakfast during this trip.

I absolutely love the food here. We came here many times. And today they serve us their special on the house, that really nice, kind and generous. The staff are polite and presentable. The food it’s amazing so tasty and I love how their appam not over cooked or burn like I had most places. The masala tea is good. And the mutton taste great too.
