We loved our breakfast here! The food was super fresh and the portions were large. The apple cider was delicious and especially loved the sourdough French toast. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a yummy breakfast

Amazing small family diner. I love the old farm house style, with the tilted wood floors and odd rooms tacked on. The service was great. Mom did serving, Dad did cooking, while the little kids played in the yard. There was a large selection of baked goodies and a wall of various pickled things to buy. The food was amazing, of course, just like a home cooked meal. I definitely have to go again, next time I’m in town.

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. By far the best breakfast I’ve ever had (I had the everything omelet). We were staying down the road for vacation and decided we would stop in on our way back home. What a bummer that we didn’t stop at this place at the beginning of our trip! We would’ve ate here everyday if that was the case. You can taste the love that was put in to making the food. Just go. now.

BTW they have all kinds of pickled goods you can purchase as well as bake goods!

We are full time RVers and we stopped by this little gem. The owner and her hubby made breakfast for us and we chatted with the wife. If you are looking for the best breakfast in 100+ miles of Hot Springs, SD you must stop in. And, if you are looking for some delicious deserts, salsa, pickled everything, and homemade bread – this is your place!

If it was allowed, this diner would receive a triple AAA rating. The food was delicious and plenty of it. Our table had breakfast burritos, hamburgers, and lunch salads. The food was fresh and delicious. Definitely a place to try if you are looking for great food. Prices were low for the amount of food we got. They also have homemade desserts . The rhubarb cake was just as good as what I make and the cookies were good also. I will definitely come back.

Went for breakfast here. It was the bomb. The folks running it were so nice and friendly. The toast was perfect, the omelette was delicious and the really liked the decor. Bought a jar of apple butter, so good, got a jar of salt and vinegar pickles and a loaf of chocolate chip banana bread. Oh to die for. Thinking I won’t be sharing the bread!

I’ve been driving across the country and back again, and in 6000mi this may be the best meal I’ve had.

Arriving, it looks very… quaint. More like a country store. But go in (the door sticks), and the menu’s on a chalkboard next to the register non-ironically. Next to my table was a list of where specifically they source their ingredients.

Started with fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes almost fresh to a fault: they were so juicy I had trouble cutting them to eat. Great flavor though, seasoned breading, and the remoulade complimented them well.

Had a country fried steak. The steak was cooked to a medium instead of the usual well-done or over, making it very tender. Gravy was creamy and buttery. Fries were decent, wild rice tasted great and was cooked perfectly, and of course the bread was out of this world. I got an extra side of shrimp, which tasted very fresh and were seasoned just enough to enhance the flavor of shrimp without overpowering them.

The apple crisp pie for dessert was slightly underwhelming, but it was a bit too tart for me.

If you’re within an hour or two drive, you should come here.

We were looking for someplace to eat on our final night in the area. This popped up and we decided to try it based on all the good reviews. NO REGRETS. This is fantastic! Unassuming exterior, cute interior, and the food – perfect. We got a variety of meals and each was delicious. Definitely recommend.
