Pretty good for a new restaurant. Will definitely be back. The service is not aggressive and sometimes slow, but it all evens out and the portions are great. Friendly and comfortable inside. Easy in and out access from highway. Great addition to the area for some home cooking.

My wife and I have been here a few times and everytime it’s been great. We’ve never had a bad meal. Portions are good sized and burgers are huge! We have had the crab dip and the ahi tuna and both are 5 star.

We are from Rome Georgia and come to Mentone from time to time to “unwind”. We stumbled upon this little restaurant and decided to try it out. We thought our food was great and our waitress, Allison is precious! We left the restaurant laughing with several of the staff….just a sweet bunch. We went back the next day since we had such a great experience, they did not disappoint! We laughed again with them and the food was fabulous….we’ll be back for sure! Thanks guys!!!

I really have enjoyed every visit to this little place. The food is always good. The servers are always attentive. I’ve tried several different things, and none have been disappointing. I really like their homemade dressing and sauce. And you have to try one of the deserts they are amazing.

There’s a lot to say about this place. Overall, we did like it and will go back. There are a couple of things to address. We both had a cheeseburger. It is a half pound, for real. I used to make patties at home that were a half pound so we know what they look like. The meat is very good. It is locally sourced and hand pattied. The problem arises with the bun (brioche?) and basic sandwich construction. The bun is not sturdy enough to hold up to a burger that size. It might be if sandwich construction rules were followed. The lettuce should be shredded to allow juices to flow through to the bun. Although it was a nice surprise to get an entire slice of onion, the fact that it was not in rings presents the same problem as the lettuce. These factors created too much slippage. Halfway through I gave up and used a knife and fork. So glad they were real and not plastic!! Also real plates and very good fries and onions rings. The coating on the onion rings stayed in place when bitten into!

One waitress we got stuck with was not very friendly and really slow. I ask for a to go box and received it after she cleaned two tables. Hardly anyone in the restaurant so I can’t use that as an excuse for the slowness. The food was over priced for what you get. My mother and daughter got a Ruben which came with fries. I got a club sandwich which was dry. We all got a drink with no refills offered. We also got the fried green tomatoes to try and was NOT impressed. There was some kind of sauce I’m assuming mayo all over everything and green sprinkles everywhere. The batter was sweet so with everything going on you can’t taste the tomatoes. Our bill ended up being $70 for 3 sandwiches, 3 drinks and and order of tomatoes.

Hands down the best meal we have had in this area yet! Southern Harvest wasn’t open for our previous two trips, and I wasn’t expecting too much since the other two restaurants on the mountain don’t live up to the hype, but last night everything we ordered was awesome! Onion ring app with garlic aioli, strange combo that was surprisingly delicious; blackened chicken Alfredo, to be fair the chicken isn’t blackened, but I’m not complaining, not even about penne vs fettuccine- this dish was REALLY good and I’ll order again, with extra homemade perfect Alfredo sauce. Hamburger steak with just a little bit of thin onions and colorful peppers on top, oh my goodness this was so good! – it was big and tender, made from quality beef, very well seasoned, cooked exactly to medium like I ordered it, and was great with the yummy smashed potatoes! Even the super simple side salad was perfect! – very fresh romaine, a few cucumber slices, and some perfectly red, ripe tomatoes (they had to be homegrown?!), served with one of the best ranch dressings I’ve ever had. Bonus- get a side of the basil vinaigrette to dip your rolls, or everything, in . Might go back today…
