We loved our experience here and are so glad we found this spot. We frequent St Augustine, and go with the goal of trying as much as the city has to offer. Each time we visit a new coffee spot. We are often rather disappointed in the coffee quality at a lot of the places in the area. So we were pleasantly surprised and thrilled when we took our first sips at Southern Grounds. DELICIOUS! Finally a good cup that’s not watered down and not too sugary. The perfect blend!!! Service was also outstanding, and the food was crafted to PERFECTION. We will definitely be back & if you’re reading this looking for a place to grab a bite or coffee—this is the place! Look no further!!! We love it. #BriandRichiesFavoriteFoods

This was my favorite Southern Grounds location. The courtyard with a fireplace is cozy and inviting. After lunch, we walked over for some hot chocolate and coffee. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. Even on a busy Saturday, they were welcoming and made our experience in St Augustine memorable. My friend enjoyed his hot chocolate so much he almost contemplated about getting a second one lol. Part of the charm was the location & ambience combined with great service is why I gave this location 5 stars!

A wonderful place to hang out. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The food was delicious, and the coffee tasted amazing. I will definitely be coming back. Loved it!

Soft Rock and Good Coffee. What else could you want from a coffee house. The turmeric latte and coffee were both well balanced. The blueberry cake was also good. A little dry but delicious. This area has a lot of great coffee shops and this is just another one.

We LOVED IT here!! Beautiful little spot (parking isn’t exactly easy, but that goes for the whole area). The breakfast was lovely and light, coffee was good, my Matcha Latte was tasty. Will definitely visit again when we’re in the area!!

We (family of 4 + grandpa) had brunch here on a Tuesday morning. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the patio.
Ordering was pretty fast even though there were people coming in all the time.
Our lemonades and coffees came fast but food took a while longer.
We ordered burrito breakfast, salmon toast, avocado toast, egg Benedict and a chocolate chip cookie.
Food was fresh and delicious, coffee was not as good as we expected (cappuccinos with coconut and almond milk).
The cashier lady was super friendly and diligent and also the guys who brought us the food and beverages.
It was a good experience.

People where nice, but as a decade long barista, the coffee was not it, I got a latte, it was nothing like a proper latte, the milk froth was closer to a cappuccino. The mug was also dirty, part of food and drink is presentation and cleanliness, ye none of that applied to the coffee I was given.

Working a few doors away, we have been anxiously waiting for Southern Grounds to open! We decided to wait until this last Sunday and they definitely delivered!!! We shared the California bagel, the Burrata Tartine toast and the grits bowl! Everything was absolutely delicious and they use fresh, quality ingredients! The food came out fast, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful! The decor and environment was done really well! I can see this easily becoming a regular spot for us!

We ate here five or six times because it was convenient to our hotel. The food was great every time. The service was very good and Ethan who we encountered four times was the cherry on top. He was so sweet and personable. He made our days!
