This was as good stop for a cup of coffee while waiting for a flight. The place was clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and efficient.
I was able to get a quick cup of coffee which was tasty and hot. Much better than a Starbucks which is the standard a most places like this.

Food is pretty good when it eventually arrives although the menu is less healthy and unrecognizably different than non-airport Southern Grounds locations. Slow and weird service (e.g., a request to restock the empty napkins went unfulfilled for 15 minutes… everyone in the restaurant did without until then. Trash cans were all overflowing.)

I had a cup of coffee at this location ( Did I pay for the coffee or who invited me and paid for is besides the point) It tasted ok at first but after a few minutes my mouth started tingling and my tooth filing felt like burning with a soure bad taste in my mouth. About 2 min later the filing of my tooth fell out.
I mean it was so strange.. . So I went to the counter and I told the girl if I could switch it with an orange juice..she said no. . I was in pain with my feeling fallen out.,.. to do any kind of dental work is very expensive ..so I took the orange juice and a kitcat chocolate Bar and drank the juice and ate the kitcat while sitting at a table.
The black girl stared yelling you have to pay, and I said ok. But first you pay me $600 to fix my tooth.. .. all hell broke loose with that said..
She called the police.. 2 big Guerilla type heavy police men attacked me while sitting down at the restaurant and arrested me without reading my rights in front of everyone and took me inside their barracks. Where I was put down with one police roughing me up by making the hand coffs so tight that it cut right through my wrist causing severe oain..in their bathroom.. I was charged with trespassing and theft. I was jailed and released the next day.. with having to pay restetuion.
God have mercy on all those innocent people that are put in prison with bogus charges.
I plan to bring a huge lawsuit against the Jacksonville airport authority and this Shop that for $5 bill dispute ,they caused massive emotional and physical damage to me as well as tarnishing my reputation by trespassing me at the airport where I had legitimate business at an airline

The chai latte and giant chocolate chip cookie I got were surprisingly good. Prices didn’t surprise me but I live in NYC so it’s probably expensive to anyone else. Staff weren’t the friendliest, but nobody in JAX has been friendly so far, so that seems to be the norm.

Miserable servers here. We were refused service by one girl while other girl was on break. 1st girl “I’m not bar” when asked how we get service. When I asked what that means, she walked away.
Bartender finally came out 20minutes later. Didn’t greet us. We had to ask for help.

Employees are so dumb. I asked if chai latte was unsweetened, the two women said yes. Got a super sweet chai so I asked them. Response was, “well, they said well we don’t add syrup so we don’t know if it’s already sweet” (she had also told me previously that chai had no caffeine but I ignored that). Wouldn’t give me refund or exchange my drink.

This is the worst Southern Grounds in Jacksonville. The staff does what they want and give attitude when you ask simple questions.
New shift management is needed. This airport is growing too rapidly for this to be a representation of the city upon entry. Do better.

The guy at the register was super friendly and had great service. I ordered a nitro cold brew, which when I got it was just a cold brew with ice and not nitro at all. Would not put or need ice in a nitro brew either. Returned it and the lady at the other register tried to tell me they are the same thing. She proceeded to say that what came out of the tap on the left in the photo was nitro and I tried to explain that the straight tap on the right was a nitro tap. She said that the right side tap has never worked and would not even try it, and they were told to serve it all out of the left tap and she said it was the same because their nitro was hooked up underneath. Again, not the same…and I should not be charged $5+ for a nitro that is not nitro brew.

Inappropriate behavior, bad customer service, food took too long, rude cashier. Don’t come here!!! Better off at the gas station!!! I have a dairy allergy and they still put it in my food. Ignored me for 15 min when I wanted to order my food.

Jax airport coffee cafe with burgers, salads, quesadillas and breakfast food. Along with a bar and coffee choices. Excellent new addition to the non-TSA side where people can wait for people that are flying. Coffee drinks hit the spot and the snacks were very tempting but I said “No evil Carbs” stay back!!
