I had such a great experience here! The drinks were really good, and I loved that they offered 5-ounce pours — perfect for trying a few different things without overdoing it. I got there a little too early to try the food, but the menu looked amazing, I would definitely come back for that. There are several restaurants nearby and they do let you bring food in, so that’s nice. I also wanted to give a special shout-out to my server, Lauree — she was super friendly, attentive, and fun to talk with. She really made the visit extra enjoyable!

Vibe: 10/10 | Drinks: Even better
Southern Grist’s West location is the perfect blend of chill atmosphere and top-tier craft beverages. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a modern industrial aesthetic, comfy seating, and an inviting bar area with friendly, knowledgeable staff.
I tried a couple of drinks — one was a smooth, flavorful cocktail, and the other a delicious, hazy brew from their rotating tap list. Both were spot-on. The branding, glassware, and even the coasters show how much attention to detail this place puts into the experience.
Bonus points for the vintage radio in the middle of the lounge setup — little touches like that really make the space memorable. Whether you’re a beer nerd, cocktail fan, or just looking for a cool spot to hang out, this place delivers.
Highly recommend checking it out — especially on a relaxed afternoon when you can soak in the ambiance.

Enjoyed the beer. A little disappointed that the only 2 stouts they had both had coconut and it was strong. If you like a lot of coconut then you’d definitely enjoy them! We went at noon on Monday and our bartender was not overly friendly, he wasn’t rude but not our usual brewery experience. They did not appear to have any covered outdoor seating, however, we did not go outside.

Staff is friendly and nice atmosphere. Didn’t think the beer was anything special, we order 2 flights(which was quite expensive, about $10 more than most other places we’ve gone to). Key Lime Sour was great but the 3 other sour beers were more like juice.

Enjoyed this small brewery location. Really tasty beers all around, and the prices are similar to any other places you would probably go to. Flights can cost anywhere between $10-$15, and all of their beers are very tasty and unique.
There isn’t too much space inside, but this is definitely a fun place to hang out with friends on a weekend.
They additionally have an actual brewery right next to this place, and I believe they do tours there as well. Might be an interesting and fun thing to experience to if you are in the area!

Tim was an absolute love and so grateful he was serving us this evening as we were discussing future plans and was both helpful but also aware we were chatting and respected our us time vs other places we have been where the bartender feels the need to insert themselves.
Great beer, wonderful vibes, glad the sober one is driving!

My favorite brewery in town. Good vibe to hang out and the peach blueberry cobbler sour is the best. Not expensive for the quality of beers you’re getting.

Awesome place! Absolutely delicious beer and friendly staff. The atmosphere is super chill, good AC, it’s clean, and very spacious. Best brewery of the four we visited today!

Fantastic place to spend the afternoon. The beer list is huge and all brewed in-house in small batches. All the beers are tasty and innovative. Cool taproom. Make sure to buy some stickers and check out their bottle labels

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience than here over the course of the past weekend. Staff and brewers are top notch; knowledgeable, friendly, dedicated to quality, and ever-enthusiastic over their liquid. Draft menu is extensive and every style purchased was stellar. Their sour ales, for me, are absolute standouts; would highly recommend.
