This was my first time eating at SF&ST. Two good friends and I went early this afternoon for dinner . The 3 of us agreed that this is by far the best place we have eaten at in a very long time. Everything was as near perfect as it could possibly be. We enjoyed talking with Betty. Our waitress was great. We left knowing we will be coming back soon because we simply loved the food, service, and atmosphere.

The place looked small from Google and it’s a nice cozy place. 8 of us visited for a birthday. SF&ST has a nice menu of chicken fried proteins, chicken fried chicken, chicken fried pork tenderloin, fried catfish. They also offer a smashburger, a chicken rice casserole. A couple of folks ordered the shrimp and grits. The food was hot and fresh; the mashed potatoes were definitely smashed, equally chunky and creamy. My chicken fried chicken was super-crisp and moist. The shrimp and grits was pretty good. The lemon-raspberry cake was pretty stellar. I think all were very satisfied with dinner; the portions were epic but ask for more gravy because like bacon, gravy makes everything better! We also had the fried green tomatoes and I’ve not seen fried green tomatoes quite as large and they were super crunchy too. Really nice! Lastly, the value of the dinner was really good, with the portions being so generous. We all left thinking we had made an excellent choice for dinner. So, yes; SF&ST isn’t that far off the interstate so hop off and give this little gem a chance.

We stopped to eat as we were passing through town. Staff were very kind and friendly. Food was amazing! The hush-puppies and butter were a nice starter for our meal… and the leftover made a great snack later that night. I had had the chicken fried chicken and ate every bite of it. The homemade mashed potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had.

The food was amazing. Large portions! We came here from Arkansas and was welcomed and treated kindly! Gabriella was the best waitress I have experienced so far! She was so kind and even left us a nice message on our ticket! We will definitely be visiting y’all again when we come back to Kentucky! All around great place to eat! The food literally melts in your mouth cuz it is so good! We are leaving here with full bellies and a great appreciation for this restaurant! Y’all rock!!

I had the ky fried catfish. It was really good.
My wife has the Cajun chicken Alfredo which I tried it was good and she enjoyed it too.
My only complaint was the restaurant seemed like it needed better ventilation in the kitchen. It smelt a little like burnt grease.

We ate at this delightful restaurant on Saturday 10/14/23. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter went over the menu and the food came out quickly.
My husband ordered the smash burger and white beans for the side. His burger was tasty with pepper Jack cheese. The white beans were AMAZING! They were well cooked with a smoky finish and a touch of heat. We plan on returning and ordering a big bowl of those beans with hush puppies. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. The chicken was well seasoned and large. All the lettuce was fresh and the tomatoes were great. It was a simple salad (no croutons and lots of additions) but it didn’t need it. I was so full.
We ordered a piece of carrot cake to go. The cake was so moist and fluffy with a wonderful spice to it. The cream cheese icing was amazing! We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day and took a couple of pieces home!
Our waiter was so friendly and on top of things. He was there the next morning when we came back for cake and was still so courteous. This young man is an attribute for the restaurant for sure! If you want a great meal and even better dessert, I highly recommend. We plan on coming back in December and will eat here again!

Love the fresh desserts available!! There are plenty of options to choose from such as three layered cakes, banana pudding, and stuffed sandwich cookies. I love the shrimp tacos and Paul’s pasta!

We have a group that rides motorcycles every other weekend and this was our lunch destination. All I can say is Holy cow! Everything is amazing The desserts….. out of this world. Between our group we had the southern country fried steak, center cut pork chops, French dip, fish, wedge salad and the strawberry salad, coconut cake, peanut butter pie, black forest cake and hummingbird cake. The staff are so sweet. This is now on our list to go back.

I can’t wait to return!!!! Our Beautiful Lunch Buddies were celebrating a birthday. The birthday girl wanted to come back to this restaurant that she and her husband stumbled on to. The service was great, the food was incredible, the portion sizes where really big ( we had alot of “to go boxes”) AND you have to save room or take home the dessert pie. I am bringing my husband back for lunch!

I have lived in Paris TN for 3.5 years… I am from Las Vegas NV and use to great food with huge portions when going to restaurants…… Southern Fried & Sweet Tea is a GOD SENT……. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT Food with HUGE HUGE HUGE Portions…. July 13, 2024 was my first time eating there……. I know my family & I will be back SEVERAL times a year……. The was hit the entire while eating, it was not “over” salted or seasoned….. just perfect……. Most people were taking left-overs home……. This restaurant is what exactly we needed…. You definitely get you minies worth here!!!!!
