We offer an all you can eat lunch buffet with southern cooking. Lots of fresh cooked veggies, baked & fried chicken, additional entree choices, along with hot & cold desserts as well. We also have a small from the grill menu too. Frozen casseroles & desserts to take home as well. We cook from scratch, just like a restaurant should.

We came to Holly Springs, MS, for my fiancé’s first cousin’s funeral service — not the reason you ever want to come home, but one of the highlights of the weekend was discovering Southern Eatery.
As a New Yorker, I admit my standards for food are high, but let me tell you — this place did not disappoint! We went for lunch (party of 5) and were immediately taken care of by Latoya, our amazing waitress. She was attentive, patient, and explained how the buffet worked (translation: all-you-can-eat + desserts = music to my ears and stomach ).
The food? Pure soulful magic. Whoever was in that kitchen put their whole heart — and foot — into every dish. Seasoned to perfection, comforting, and absolutely delicious. I even had the pleasure of meeting Tamia, the owner’s daughter, who was just as gracious and welcoming as the food was filling. I asked her to please let her mom, Katrina, know that we left happy, satisfied, and FULL.
And the best part? The price didn’t break our pockets — affordable and tasty. Southern Eatery has officially made it onto our “must-eat” list whenever we’re back in Holly Springs. Trust me, if you’re in town, do yourself a favor and stop by. You’ll leave with a happy heart and a full plate.

The service at Southern Eatery was incredibly friendly and everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The fried pork chop, lima beans, black-eyed peas, green peas, and some kind of delish rice were like something straight out of grandma’s kitchen, comforting and perfect, but served up as an all you can eat buffet. The food is tasty, filling, and definitely the kind of hearty, stick to your bones cooking you crave. This is true country cooking at its best, serving up foods you’ll love. If you’re looking to indulge and leave feeling completely satisfied, this is the place. Though you’ll probably be so full you might feel like you’ve eaten a bit too much! Absolutely delicious and I’d definitely eat here again….

Visited for a short day trip from Memphis. Buffet was great. Little hard to hear around the server wall (just my hearing really.) but overall the food was great. Good seasoning and great sweet tea! Make sure you try the desert and take a walk to walk it off afterward. Also try the pork chops. Lots of historical buildings around. Great great parking all around.

Southern Eatery is the highlight to any visit we have to Holly Springs. The food is always wholesome, homecooked, and delicious. The all you can eat makes it well worth every penny although I am always too full for seconds. They really load your plate! Southern Eatery is a must if you are ever in Holly Springs. I always make sure I swing in for lunch when I’m in the area. The buffet is always fresh and will not disappoint. Make sure you try their peach cobbler, it’s to die for. It is one of my favorite places to eat in Mississippi.

Very good customer service! My server was very polite and kind. I visited on a Saturday and they have a rotating menu. My food was hot and delicious. My only wish is that there was more selection. But I do understand that this family owned business is keeping it simple and what the cook, they cook consistently well. I will definitely visit again on chicken and dressing day!
