I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Not that I didn’t think it would be good, but it lived up to some serious hype. All in all, everything was great! The Texas cheese fries (queso) were AMAZING. No seriously, I will likely go back many times and have this as my meal. And I really enjoyed the wings. They are on the saucier side (compared to a BWW), but that’s usually a good thing. Not sure the loaded potato salad side was my absolute favorite, but it certainly wasn’t bad. Chicken tenders were HUGE (a 4 piece fed our 3 young boys). Again, just a really solid experience. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing food and amazing service.
I stopped in last night after having a really disappointing experience at another place, and this completely turned my night around. The staff were so sweet and incredibly knowledgeable, especially when I was a little overwhelmed by the huge selection of wing sauces. Everything we tried was delicious, and the service was genuinely top-tier. I’ll absolutely be back to try more of their food.

Came here after a terrible experience at a nearby restaurant. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming and helped me with their giant and extensive menu to find the perfect wing sauce. I will definitely be coming back here with my friends!

One of my favorite places in Oxford. I have had the salads, the sandwiches, the wings, and the pizza. Everything has been awesome. The pizza is the best pizza I have had locally, I get the “Ranch Hand”.
Wings I like the dry ranch or dry Cajun, with sauce my go to is Cajun ranch or Cajun Alfredo.
You get plenty of food. With my many repeated visits whatever I order has been consistent in quality.

We are a loyal customer to Southern Coop and decided to get dinner tonight like we do once a week to support our local businesses, but tonight we were highly disappointed with our food. We found a piece of hair in our fried chicken tender meal. I was very alarmed since I am not sure if anyone wears a hair net in the kitchen. We want to give our support to local businesses but hygiene is one our most important priorities when it comes to food.
Update: Many people only leave bad reviews but we should also acknowledge the good reviews as well, while we had a disappointing experience earlier in the month, we went back, had great service and the food was excellent. We enjoy serving this restaurant with our money and time. Thanks for being professional, understanding, and clear communication of sanitation and hygiene. It means so much to us. 5/5. Huge thanks to Liz, she was attentive to detail and very understanding.

Only been here twice but the food is phenomenal.
Fries could stand on their own as a meal and the chicken is crispy, seasoned well, and tastes amazing.
Not to mention the quality of their sauces and just how many of them there are to choose from.
My only complaints? That there’s only one Southern Coop and it’s farther than I can afford to drive as much as I want to keep eating it!

Livin’ Life
This place is awesome. Googled chicken places and wanted a restaurant. The chicken was so tender and juicy. Crispy but over done. The lemon pepper flavor was perfect. We also had onion rings. They were good. I think I should have got the fries. The ranch was phenomenal. And the salad was so good. Huge amount of toppings. I love the plastic cup you get too! I will be craving this place in Arizona.

I don’t regularly write reviews, but I ate here for the first time, and it was fantastic! I remember Coupe De Ville back when I was in school, so I gave it a shot. Tenders were super big and fried perfectly! Juicy and crispy

The Florida Punisher
One of my favorite chicken places. The tenders are large, delicious, and very tender. You may not need as many tenders if you are used to Chick-Fil-a, Zaxby’s, or Slim chickens tenders. The plain tenders have a slight kick to them.
I prefer them tossed in their hot sauce. It has a very nice level of heat and it is not over the top. It is definitely hotter then most chicken places. The fries are good and have a light seasoning on them. The Mottzarella sticks are good and the portion is enough for 3-4 people.
The staff is nice and the owner is very friendly. I met her on my last visit. She and her husband seem to really care about their customers. Locally owned and definitely worth trying.
