Typically great food at an okay pace, but at random times you just get an entirely wrong order or half of your order was wrong. Ordered a 3 piece chicken tender meal with fries and extra sauces- instead I got 4 fish tenders with hush puppies. I’m sure that’d be passable for someone else but I just genuinely don’t like eating fish. Slammed that hard as hell into a dumpster when I saw that.
Mistakes happen, food is good. Just clarify and double check your food when you get it.

We stopped in after a long travel day of nothing but junk food. The nicest young man took our order right away and it was ready and handed to us in just a few minutes. The chicken is spectacular, as always. We call it life-changing chicken. Everyone working there today was very friendly and the food was still hot when we got home with it about 40 minutes later.

Came thru about 1:30p on a Sunday. There was a line of cars in the drive thru and multiple people inside. First time going to Southern Classic. For other reviews talking about the service, when ordering in the drive thru I couldn’t hear anyone but the polite woman taking my order. I didn’t have to repeat myself 4x as others have said. Customer service was good.
All the food was hot/fresh. 4 stars as Diet Coke didn’t taste right and the rice in my red beans and rice was hard like it hadn’t cooked enough. Overall I’d be back again, didn’t pay attention to how long the wait was. If you’re in a rush go somewhere else if they have a big line.

We visited this location on 06/28/25. As soon as we walked in the aura was just pure pleasant. We had a long hot day and barely ate anything. The manager was kind, honest, and all around a good soul and you can tell they take care of their people there because nobody was in one of those I don’t want to be here moods. I am originally from Louisiana but now stay in Texas and this good chicken and red beans & rice is a 45min drive to the nearest one. So seeing them across from the gas station was giving such I died and went to heaven feel. The food, the service, everything was welcoming even with us walking in around 9:30ish on a Saturday night. Sadden they did not have anymore red beans & rice but the food being right out the grease fresh made up for it. Thanks so much SCC Crew for getting the trail ride girls from Texarkana right!!!!
