Southern Burn Chicken | The Best Place to Get Great Food
Reviews
What truly sets this place apart, though, are the fries. They taste much closer to real, natural potatoes — not overly processed or artificial like many fast-food fries.
Price are bit higher in compare to portion size and fountain soda is almost hitting $4.00.
Food was a 4 out 5, the Zahiba Halal Chicken was good. The breading had a spicy taste but felt like it was missing flavor – maybe just a bit of salt would go a mile!
Service, no real service here it’s a take out kinda place with tables. They do keep the tables and place pretty clean.
Here is why I gave it a 3 out of 5, the price:food ratio isn’t great. You pay $13-14 for a combo and you get 1 tender in the wrap or sandwich – they have two tenders on the toast. They charge you $5 for a tender or $3.50 to add on the tender. So you end paying about $19 for Wrap or Sandwich with extra tender, fries and drink. That’s very expensive!
Overall good food, but a little pricey for amount of food. Also wasn’t a fan of the house sauce that was on the cheese toast and other items.
The fries were the best freshly made I had in NC !!! ( unlike many who serve Restaurant Depot fries)
The waffle was fresh n yummy.
Will be coming back again for the wings.
To top it off the staff was super hospitable and welcoming. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to when the fried chicken cravings hit .
