We’ve been here before and the food is always top tier! I had the caramelized bread pudding French toast—absolutely amazing with the perfect balance of sweet and rich. Everyone at our table loved their meals, especially the belly buster biscuits, which were soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. We also shared the doughnuts for the table, and they were a huge hit—warm, fresh, and even better with the butter! The juices were all fresh and delicious too. Every bite was satisfying, and the quality remains consistent each visit. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Small, cute and homey. Service was great, though the restaurant was very busy.
I got the Southern Belle’s Omelet, which was outstanding. I order jack cheese with it, worth it.
I had to try the pancakes, so skipped other offerings. They are really good, but eyes were bigger than tummy.

Wow, everything was fantastic. We’ll definitely come back. We were seated right away and waitress was very friendly and attentive. Portions are ginormous and prices are very reasonable for all of the food you get. Pancakes are the size of your head and on top of that, you get a giant biscuit as well. Had a wonderful breakfast. Very impressed overall and the food was hot and tasty. Wait was a bit long for the food but it was a Sunday morning with a full house. There was a wait when we left but moving.

A fantastic find while car shopping in the area. This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The bright welcoming atmosphere was coupled with a friendly staff full of cheer. I felt as if I walked into my family’s home. Our server Michelle is so personable and attentive. Now for the food, simply DELICIOUS and large portions (sharing is caring)! The menu has a variety of choices but specific to certain flavors. They even have vegan and gluten free options! I had the the eggy waffle sandwich with a handmade sausage patty. Next time I will try it with chicken. The sugary waffle is freshly made, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The hash browns are crispy and flavorful. I enjoyed the drip coffee but they have many choices of lattes and chai teas. My brother had a smoothie that he raved about. I look forward to returning to try more options…it’s definitely worth the commute. I live in Chicago so that says a lot.

We were driving along and found this diner like place and loved it. Food was great, we got seats on a Sunday morning and the staff were on point. Will definitely visit again if we are in the area again!

This place was absolutely delicious, all of the food had large portions and the service was awesome. We had 7 people in our party and did not have to wait long for anything.
Edit: still a good place 2 years later

GrubHub just delivered the most phenomenal breakfast to my home. I ordered the Southern Bell Omelette and Gluten Free pancakes. Everything was amazing and I highly recommend dining in, carry out or home delivery.

Place was amazing, clean upscale upbeat. Very positive environment.
Food was absolutely amazing. My wife and I shared two breakfast items and there was definitely enough for four people.
My only dislike was the ventilation system was running so hard. It actually made my food cold.

I’m a fan of Southern Belle’s. A lot of the dishes I’ve had here are good and plenty full. The themed dishes are fun as well. Their ability to provide savory and sweet southern cuisine is decent. Being southern in a northern city at a place that serve’s southern cuisine makes me a little more discerning.
The dish I had today is Peach Cobbler French Toast.
The peaches were cold and crunchy. Which sucks for a peach cobbler dish. Peaches should be warm and soft with a slight glaze. The pecan crumble was really nice. The toast was soft and warm which made the cream cheese between the pieces soft and it melted into the toast. No need for syrup. I’ll forgive them for the peach situation and return.
Oh, & my husband liked his Bayou Benny, a Cajun twist on Eggs Benedict.
